About me

04.04.07 / Author: chinneeq

A happy but curious mum who is going into involving in what’s hot currently, from self-enrichment, parenting, to investing. Just a bit of everything that interest me.

I was born in Melaka. Went to Infant Jesus Convent for my schooling, and straight after graduated from University Kebangsaan Malaysia, I work and now stayed in Kajang for more than 10 years.

I’m happily married and also a mommy to a pre-school girl and a pair of new twin boys. Also ‘retired’ to be a stay-at-home mum.

I’m a Buddhist and I feel the blessings showered upon me is way beyond what I can ever imagine.

I’ve learned from experience that, whatever happens in life, for there must be a reason. And wonderfully, for good or bad, it is always a blessing in disguise.

And I hope that through this site, I can share with all my friends how precious and beautiful our life is and how it can always be better.

.hometown.
Melaka is a beautiful small city, with lots and lots of good foods. I always miss my white wantan mee, teochew dishes from Restaurant Lim Tian Puan, and so much more. And most importantly, it is where my memories and my families are.

Kuantan is the hometown of my dear hubby. It is famous with it’s white sandy beach, Teluk Cempedak and lots of great malay foods like Nasi Dagang, the east coast version of kuih (hubby’s favourite is otak-otak). And not forgetting also it has lots of Chinese food (my favourite is the Ah Mui’s Laksa). Good place to take a break !

Hi there..came across your blog when googling about anyone who blogs about bad experiences with maids! I live in Kajang too, about 7 years now. When growing up, I stayed a lot in Melaka too, on and off as my father was in the army. Some similarities we have here!

BTW, my blog is new, whenever I set up my blogroll, can I link yours?

Nice to “know” you here!

Hi Chinnee, I was browsing the net for Cotton cheesecake recipe and I came upon your website. Was a little curious about who you are after saw your children’s cute picture (qiqi & the twins) and decided to check it out.

And what a surprise! I’m from Melaka and… I went to the same school - Infant Jesus Convent! I now work & live in Melbourne. Nice to meet you here!
