How we celebrated our V-Day

Valentine’s Day was just a normal day for us ever since we had kids. Hubby said he would not leave his kids behind, no matter what. Although I think it would be nice to receive a surprise, or a rose, and guess what was his reply? “Nah…those are just to trick girlfriends so I don’t need that”, haha….

Ok, as long as he comes back home from work safely, it was good enough for me. Nor I got him any gifts from the online shop where I saw many nice valentines day gifts for husband.

Maybe we will again, celebrating our Valentine’s Day like once we used to, when all our kids have grown up :)

  1. No need. It’s Valentine’s Day every day… Save money for kids’ this and that and for other more essential things - commitments get heavier as they grow bigger/older…

  2. STP is right, everyday should a Valentine;s Day for husband and wife but it will be nice to have little surprise for each other on the actual V-day just to remember not to take each other for granted. No need to spend lots of $$ to show our love, gratitude and appreciation. Do something special on for each other is a more precious V-day gift. I don’t view V-day is just for couples because all our love ones are our Valentines. Have a wonderful week my dear:D
