Detergents from BYOB
Came to know about BYOB when Sasha shared it on FB. In case you have not heard of it.

Big detergent container with pipe, so you need to bring your own bottle for refill
I usually pass by their shop when I fetch my kids back from school but because they open only after 2pm, I had a hard time adjusting my time going to their shop (you know la, tired boys will become cranky, are hungry so I can’t wait to reach home as soon as I pick them up from school).
Update 6/3/12: I passed by these few days and notice BYOB is opened when I passed by at 12noon. Not sure if they updated the open hour on their facebook/website.

Detergent Menu and its very affordable price
Everything in there is so cheap but because I have only limited empty bottles with me, I only bought what I need at the moment.

- 2L Pine Disinfectant Gel @ Rm2.80×2=Rm5.60
- 1L Dishwash Liquid @ Rm1
- 1L Bleach @ Rm1 (and extra 80sen for that recycle bottle)
1Liter Dishwasher cost only Rm1, can you imagine? I don’t know how my maid uses the dishwasher, but I have to replenish ours so quickly (praying hard that she does not add them into our drinking water!)
Although we usually make our garbage enzyme (from the fruit skin from my daily juicing) for toilet cleaning purposes, I also got 2 Liter of Pine Disinfectant Gel on my toilet and laundry (ya, the guy in that shop told me it has some dettol effect and some uses it on their clothing to0 coz it smells good….??)
As for bleach, you have to bring a container which is not transparent, so best to keep your bleach bottle for refill if you plan to visit BYOB (you certainly do not wanna use any other bottle, just in case you forgot that it is refilled with bleach!)
I ended up buying one recycle bleach bottle from the shop since I do not have any. Now I can’t wait to try them!
To find out more, do visit their them on FB @ https://www.facebook.com/BYOB.Malaysia where you can also find their contact and shop address too.
Feedback on the detergent 6/3/12: I tried the Pine Disinfectant Gel (BYOB boss said this gel not only works great on flooring, adding a little to our laundry works great too) and Bleach on my fabric shower curtain. Guess what, the hard to removed fungus and mold are almost gone!
Previously I used the expensive Clorox bleach and it wasn’t even as clean as this. Worth trying, seriously, since detergent from BYOB is just a small fraction of price of those detergent we normally get from supermarket.

Pine Disinfectant GEl is the Dettol gel?
Last Sat when I went, I dont think the MENU CHART was there. Now I know they got more options.
Wow… this is cheap. Too bad I stay too far away to purchase from this shop.
Wah, really cheap! Since my maid came, I seem to be buying detergents a lot.
thanks for your nice blog post! here is an article we did on the pine gel and its usage for your kind references
