A Magical Stay at Disney Hollywood Hotel, Hong Kong
Just a bit different in price, we initially planned to stay a night at Disneyland Resort then moved on the Hollywood on the second night. Good to have different experience at 2 different hotels right?
But when they took off the Enchanted Breakfast & Stay promotion, paying for 4 pax breakfast buffet at Enchanted became super pricey man! I might as well stay 2N at Hollywood so at least we do not have to move our luggage early in the morning to check out after our first night.

Beautiful spacious room at Hollywood Hotel
Upon entering to our room, we were all so surprise to find that they already place a cot in our room.
In fact room in Hollywood Hotel looks so much prettier than in picture. The whole room smells so fresh, very spacious. Every single corner is so well clean and there isn’t any trace of dust at all!

Dust free sparkling clean bar counter
Unlike my SIL’s room, we got an open style wardrobe beside our mini bar counter. Mum and I love it to bits because we never like closing up doors, especially in hotel rooms (if you know what I mean).

Vibrant room that fits a BIG family!
I told them I have 2 big babies and they even provide us with an extra cot without additional charge. Without having the 2 boys sharing our bed, we could sleep so well for the first 2 nights (hub with QQ while mum and I shared a bed).

Warm gesture from the hotel to make kids happy
On our 2nd night, the boys even had a surprise to find that the housekeeping people actually leave them another cute hanky with some Disney stickers on their neatly made cot. How thoughtful hor….!
Unfortunately wifi is only limited to the lobby so I could not possible leave the fighting boys with hub and mum alone, sigh…if only they have better network cable wiring for all rooms!
But then, kids are Disney’s Actual Customer, so kids happy = parents become happy, right?

Fine dinning over at Disneyland Hotel
Remember I wanted to dine at Yue Kee which is quite a distance away for the best Roost Goose in the whole HK? I was so disappointed again on our 2nd night there because the boys dozed off while we were watching fireworks all the way back to our hotel.
By the time they woke up upon reaching hotel, it was too late to travel all the way to Sham Tseng….*GRRRRRR*
Since there wasn’t much choice to eat in Hollywood Hotel except buffet, we went out again to Disneyland Hotel to check out the choices over there.

Crispy Roast Chicken with Lemon Sauce and Fine Salt dip? Weird but taste REAL GOOD!
Read so much about the very famous Crystal Lotus Fine Dinning and we decided to eat there. It is a very classy Chinese Restaurant.
Unfortunately all BBQ items were sold, so again no roast goose for me, *sob…sob*

- Marinated Ribs with Deep Fried Steamed Milk
- Brinjal with Shrimp
Everything on the menu are quite similar in price regardless of plain vege or a plate of roast goose (average per dish was about HKD138-HDK148 like that) so that explain why you don’t see any green dish on top, LOL!!!
Total damage for 3 dishes + 4 bowls of rice + pot of tea = HKD580….*eyes popped out man*
Super pricey but then we still think dinning here is worth every penny because everything tasted so good. Rating for this restaurant is 5/5.
No joke. Food served in Crystal Lotus is so much tastier than those famous eateries we tried in the whole Hong Kong town later on.

Us waiting for our bus in front of Hollywood Hotel
Overall, we had a very good experience staying at Disneyland in Hong Kong.
If you like classy hotel, Disneyland Hotel is definitely your choice but if you prefer a happy and vibrant mood, then go to Hollywood Hotel for a little saving.

Our two little Mickey Mouse (also born in the year of Mouse)
Total Spent:
- 2N Hotel Room at Hollywood Hotel: 1408×2=HK$ 2816
- Second night Dinner at Crsyal Lotus Disneyland Hotel: HK$ 580
Tips: Disney Shuttle Bus ride is free and it travels from Disneyland Park - Disneyland Hotel - Hollywood Hotel very frequently. If you choose not to stay in Disneyland, you can actually visits these 2 hotels with the Shuttle Bus from Disneyland. Worth a visit, if you have time

wow… i like the hotel! & great service!!!
think i tried the roast goose in Crystal Lotus… yummy! hehehe :p.
Crystal Lotus, I marked it down .. next time when we go to HK Disneyland…
Hollywood hotel room also nice and spacious hor..
I would say that the Hollywood Hotel has a more Disneyland “feel”. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last year… not much Disney theme inside so it was more like any other ordinary hotels out there.
[...] So we took the Disneyland bus again, and go to Disneyland Hotel to dine at Crystal Lotus. Extremely pricey though, but great food with fantastic dinning ambience. Review done here. [...]

We stayed in Disneyland Hotel on our last visit. Maybe we will try Hollywood Hotel next time. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I am Normi from Shah Alam.
I’ll visit HK Disneyland next year, and planning to stay for a night in disney Hollywood hotel.
I’ve emailed the hotel regarding the package, but they said the room is for 4 person including baby.
I have 3 kids (girl and twin boys) just like you. so they suggest me to book 2 different rooms.
Can you suggest me how you consult with them to book only a room for more than 4 person?
thank you.
