Holiday starts…
…………..the moment QQ finished her final exam. Books thrown aside, bag left aside, and everyday it is PARTY for us every single minute at home.
Last week, we and some friends even made an ad-hoc trip to Genting. It was the most leisure Genting trip for us this time because everyone is still at the school and it wasn’t crowded at all on the hill.

Excitingly looking out at those outdoor rides from our hotel room
Upon checking into our room, we quickly rush down to buy our tickets for the rides. And because everyone is still at school, the kids do not even need to line up to get into the rides.

Korkor on his bumper car
In fact, they did not even have to get down from it, and can keep on continue playing because there was no one at the queue. Damn SHIOK for them!
Good that I have 2 friends with me so there were someone to chat with me instead of sitting there looking at my boys
Just realized I we forgot to take a picture of ourselves!

soooo S.C.A.R.E.D.D.D….
However this time the boys dislike the Carousel. Somehow they were frightened by the jerking horses and rather be on the bumper cars at all time.
With a tea snack rest and one sit down dinner in between, can you believe that they played from 1pm till night ?

Crystal clear view from our room, the cheapest Standard Room at First World Hotel
With no rest in between, we got so exhausted and had to go back to our room by 10pm. We thought the kids would fall asleep so we both could sneak out but alas, they only manage to fall asleep by 12 midnight.
There was even a beautiful fireworks view from our window during that night-organized by some Teochew International Conference. I just love our hotel room, cheap and yet fantastic!
After the kids dozed off, hubby and I sneak into the casino (for the FIRST TIME ever since I had the kids) and I had a wonderful experience learning to play at the table. Si-beh exciting for me, WAHAHAHA!

As our Rm48nett/room - iHoliday Promo comes with 2 breakfast at the First World Cafe, hubby and I woke up very early the next morning for our buffet. I read that it’s nothing that great so we did not want to bring the kids. But look at my platter, not that bad right?

And this was hubby’s 2nd serving on something different.

Entrance to First World Cafe @ Level 3, First World Hotel
This above picture shows only the entrance area of the First World Cafe. It is so super huge that this cafe that has a seating capacity of 2400pax!
By 7am, it was super crowded already. Luckily we still manage to spot a clean table which is quite near to the buffet line near the entrance. Lazy to venture inside to that very smoky cafe…

Breakfast Food at the Buffet Line
Some basic breakfast food they served to could fit an army! Look at those stacking up hams, hahaha….and there are even larger buffet counters inside this cafe with “goreng telur” and fried-on-the-spot noodle smoky stations.

The kids were still asleep when we got back and we just had to wake them up because hubby still needs to go work while QQ has to rush to attend school. They just love the view from our window and rush to look down the moment they jumped out of the bed

Just love our very-early holiday!

Great holiday, cheap room plus free fireworks to watch. Nice!! Your pics are great. I’ve always enjoyed your pics! Happy holidays to you all! We still have to wait another 5 weeks.
You guys sneaked to the casino leaving the kids all alone by themselves?
Point taken. Must avoid school holidays at all cost to avoid the crowd. Have not been to Genting since the early 90s…. So different now - must go again one day.
So nice, it’s like they hv the theme park all to themselves.
Yeah..same comment as Twin. Did the maid go to Genting too? I always wanted to leave P alone in the condo and sneak downstairs for gym / hair salon..but i scare wor
Great idea to go to Genting during non-school holidays! Glad you all had so much fun
You went on a weekday, and rushed back the next morning for school/work? Geng ah!
Last time I went, Ethan got down from bumper car, ran back to the queue and back inside. He did that like dunno how many thousand times!! Ur kids so shiok, no need to get up oso!
