Why Ah Mah got so many “eggs”?
I once explained to QQ, about human reproduction and referred to ovum in woman as “egg”. Not into very detail, just enough to satisfy her curiosity at that time.
She has already got 2 brothers, and no matter how many dolls I get her, I know there is nothing that could fill the missing piece in her heart, a sister.
Yeah, we may want another, probably many years later down the road, but definitely not now. Our finance is one big issue, and education for 3 of them already cost us a lot now.
And then recently, she must have feel that loneliness again, and start wondering, how come people in the past, for instant, my late MIL could give birth to so many babies, to be exact EIGHT. (That explain Ah Mah has got at least EIGHT fertilized eggs, and her mother, me, only had THREE so far!)
So, whenever she wants a sister, she would just ask us OUT LOUD, anywhere, anytime, “Why Ah Mah got so many eggs ah, why you don’t have eggs one?”
……..obviously time again for another sit down session of reproduction explanation again ya…

Haha! I’ve only mentioned to my son once or twice about eggs but I still wonder if he really understood what I said. Yes, I think it’s time for another session
Hahahaha……sometimes, I really salute my late grandma who can raise 8 children. I only have 2 and my world is turning up side down. How do they manage arr???
Btw, my hubby’s late grandma has got 13 children. Faint!
