More beautiful notes for her “Treasure Pot”

QQ and her little cousin during the Raya Holiday break
I guess I am one lucky mum at least a daughter, and a very thoughtful one indeed.
Last week, there was something QQ did, which touches my heart deeply. Being a girl with a very sensitive feeling, she feels for others around her.
Case 1
Few days back at her Chinese class, there was a cake blowing birthday celebration where each kid were given a party pack. Somehow the teacher left out a little boy in the class. Although he did not ask for one, QQ told me to pass her party pack to that boy. And what surprise me is that inside that party pack, it contains also 2 Angry Bird’s pencils plus 1 very tempting BIG PACK M&M which she is willing to let go :p
Case 2
While playing with water at my living hall the other day,I was not very happy because QQ and Korkor got very creative and poured the water on the tray and all over the table instead into their play cups. Sensing I was not happy, gess what she told me?
“Ma, it is ok. Tonight you only give a stamp to Didi (I give them a stamp each night before sleep for their good behavior), and you don’t have to stamp for me and Korkor…. “
QQ’s Treasure Pot (Parent’s weekly assignment)

Collection of QQ’s treasure notes in her Treasure Pot
We do record down all the positive behaviors she exhibits in her diary book.
At the DiZiGui class, parents are encourage to jot down our kids good behavior in a book called, Ji Bao Pen (Treasure Pot in Mandarin). Teacher will look through what we wrote about our kids, and sometimes use it to share as a story with other kids in class to encourage good behaviors.

The idea of Ji Bao Pen (Treasure Pot in English)
A teacher once shared a true story about this man who pass a record of his love for his child he recorded in a notebook since childhood and this child found it after his father passed away. So you can roughly guess the feeling of the child, when his eyes went through the words his father recorded about his since he was a child……
We are glad we are doing one for QQ, you might wanna try making one for your child as well

You know how to write Chinese meh?
Something like a diary of a parent’s observation on his/her child. Sound interesting.
QQ is so considering and good girl.
Oh ya I do remember I read it somewhere jot down the positive behaviour in note book. It can encourage the children to continue their good behaviour. It can let the children learn more new vocab from the note book too. Good Job Chinnee.
I think my girl’s just like yours - heart of gold…but as she goes out into the world, it is very very worrying as it’s a dog-eats-dog out there. She may be taken advantage of, tricked, cheated and may not even realise it as she thinks the world is such a beautiful place, everybody and everything is so beautiful. Can’t do much anymore…other than to pray and hope that God will guard her and keep her safe always. Sometimes it is good to be a bit street-smart and aware of the ways of the world like many of her classmates/schoolmates…
She is such a considerate and thoughtful little girl. She will be her teachers’ pet in future!
love QQ!:).
