Kakak is BACK, right in our house!
We went through many funny ups and downs since this morning. First Kakak sent me sms to say she is already waiting at Bandung Airport, but flight delay 20minutes. Then she sent sms to me saying that she has to pay xxx for her hand carry luggage. When I try to call her again, her handphone line goes “Nombor yang anda dial……..”
Not wanting to waste time going all the way to the airport just in case she ffk (fong fei kei) on us, I called to AirAsia Call Center 600-85-999 (that cleverly charges Rm1.95 per minute with very long introduction in English, BM, then Mandarin before we get to speak to their officer) to check if she board the plane from Bandung Airport.
Well, answer given was, “This person did check in at the counter but did not show herself at the boarding hall.” HUH???
Anyway, after listen to many warning shared from my kind friends, I had prepared myself for the worst and start making plan to visit preschool on Monday. I seriously need to put the boys into full day care so that I can concentrate on Mama Patch again. We did not bother to travel to the airport for her.
At around 4.15pm (40mins after arrival), I received another sms from Kakak that she already arrived and waiting for us in front of Mary Brown from her handphone, with a Malaysia handphone number. SURPRISE! SURPRISE!!
So I quickly called to Air Asia again, to confirm if Kakak has board the plane and entered Malaysia. And this time, Air Asia Call Center confirmed her entry into Malaysia, with the exactly landing time some more. How weird!
Not wanting to risk losing her again, hubby quickly rushed to the airport to pick her up and right now she is in our house, safely with us again.
In just within three weeks, she is now so much fatter, darker, until we almost could not recognize her. She seems lost in mind, probably missing her family, and also the pressure-asking-for-money from her father-in-law. I hope she gets back to her normal self soon. Mum said this might be her clone sister, LOL! but my little Didi sticks to her immediately like a glue!
Guess I am that one lucky employer who’s maid still comes back, despite many ups and downs? Hope she is sincerely back here for good.
Anyway, I am glad our routine can be back to normal again, at least a few months down until the boys start preschool next year. But of course, I will have to monitor our “balik-dari-kampung’s Kakak”, for the time being, right?

glad that she’s back with you again. hope she will not bin jeng after returning home.
Wow.. Glad your prayer is answered
Have been following all the drama in FB, phew! Luckily all ends well for you. Hope she doesn’t change into someone else, like what most of your friends warned.
Just be careful…since she looks like she doesn’t want to come back. She might do crazy things man!!!
Glad that she’s back but just be wary of her. She could have a bag full of tricks under her sleeves now, courtesy from her kampung friends. But pray that she’ll remain good.
LOL, funny that your mum said she may be the sister clone! But seriously, glad to know that kakak is back, after all the drama. Like I’ve mentioned earlier, just be cautious and monitor her. All the best, Chin Nee.
I’ve been following your status updates on FB. Glad to know that she really turned up and is safely back in your home now. At least she kept her promise and did not FFK. Still got a bit of hope that she can be trusted
you should still continue to find a pre-school and enrol your twins…as you say, even if she is back, you don’t know what will happen next.
