Digging out my childhood memories
Facebook does help to bring a lot people closer, especially people whom we lost in touch, for a long long time.
Comparing myself to my siblings, I had many privilege being the eldest. I was my grandma’s favourite grandchild, and I followed her everywhere she went to.
When I was very very young, I always follow my grandma to visit my late Great Grandmother, who lives in a village at a wooden house in the middle of some padi field. I love going there, because it is a place I can run wild around the neighbour hood, catching tadpoles, or shout like a little tarzan, swinging from trees to trees.
So, who do you think I played in that village?

My long lost and found, beautiful cousin-aunties
Can you believe all the leng lui-s and that little leng-jai are actually my dad’s cousin? Only 2 of them (one was not in the picture) was elder than me by a year, 2 of them same age as I am, and mostly are younger than me (and many were not in the pictures)
Reason, is because……
My grandma was the eldest, married early so dad was born early when late great grandma was still at the child bearing age. Hence I was born earlier than many of my dad’s cousins
We have lost in touch for more than twenty years, because I grow up and my grandma stop going to the village after my late great grandmother passed away.
I was so SUPER happy when I found them all, one by one online so I made an ad-hocĀ trip back to Melaka last weekend.
We reached Melaka early evening, just in time for a gathering with my little cute aunties and uncles whom have all grown up, and some even became parents too

Blood runs thicker than water… Good to keep the bond that binds strong always…
Great to find back those long lost relatives. hehe…..
So nice to keep in touch with all your relatives. So you call aunty or just their name?? keke so weird to label the young girl as your aunty hor??
Hail FB, I hv got to find a lot of my primary classmates too, thx to FB! Wow, if you didn’t mention… I’d think they are your cousins instead!
