Spending a quiet weekend on this creepy month
It is the 7th month again, and my kids are frequently talking about g.h.o.s.t. ! It all begins from influence from the school, then influence from qiqi to the boys……
QQ fears easily over little matters now, but I doubt the boys understand what it is all about.
We initially wanted to go back to Melaka since QQ has no Sunday DiziGui class at the temple this week. But because we encounter some very hair-standing-moment last year, hubby thought it would be better not to bring the boys out anywhere this month nor do anything different from their usual routine. Good to just stay at home, to spend a quiet weekend, since QQ’s exam is just around the corner too. Can see lots of us spending time at home on our computers too.
So far, so good for us. How about you?

Under the influence and exposure from schoolmates, JS dd ask about what ghost festival is about. She read from newspaper too. But in order not to stir up unnecessary fear and anxiety, we never tell them what the festive is about. Just brush it off by saying it is chinese halloween
eee….really scary to read what happened to you last year. did you offer some food this year? my mother was telling me that if we didn’t offer any food all the while, it’s better not to start because sometimes we don’t know whether we got it right or not, i.e. whether the food was enough for all of ‘them’. If something is not right, ‘they’ may disturb us
we just stayed at home on sat night..didn’t go out at all.
we stayed at home on that night too….. and slept early too since the kids did not take their afternoon nap. Peaceful night. hehe
