My auspicious day in 2011
Got this done just a day before my big day. Usually I do not like having paint on my fingers (worried it will look ugly once scratched, and worry if it gets into kids food during food preparation at home). But because there is a promotion going on, and since its my birthday, well no harm looking good just for a day 
Manicure (for the first time) and Pedicure for myself on this auspicious day
No cake for the first time during my birthday this year.
I received a RM50 birthday voucher from Oriental Group (registered online for their Cuisine Club and you will get a birthday voucher on your birthday month) and we went to try their Peking Duck. We have been wanting to try this dish, but they did not have this during CNY when we last dined there.
Crispy Peking Duck Skin
The duck skin is very crispy and it tasted heavenly too. Good to just eat without the popiah skin (because the crispy skin a bit soggy after wrapping up).
Duck Thighs and Stir Fried Sang Meen with leftover meat
2 thighs were cut out and one for each of the boys. Leftover duck meat was stir fried with sang meen. And the whole Peking Duck that was turned into so many different dishes cost only Rm80.
Thousand Layered Malay Kuih and Wu Kok
Besides the main dish, I also ordered the Thousand Layered Cake (Malay Kuih) and some Wu Kok (Fried Yam). It was indeed a lot just for a few of us until we had to take away the leftover noodles.

And to my greatest happiness, I am able to SQUEEZEEEE into some of my very old clothing now. Can you imagine how delighted I am? Of course, still not looking that perfect yet, but at least I no longer need to hide myself in BIG TEE!!
And the best gift I received yesterday was, all my 3 kids were behaving perfectly well. Two boys were eating well on their own whole day and no fighting from the kids, hence I did not scream like a mad woman yesterday. But of course, I warned them upfront, since it is Mummy’s special day, LOL!!

I had to laugh at the family photo too as the kiddos look kinda blur. Hubby is OK, I guess. But usually, if the Mummy is smiling, that’s the favourite photolah
