Ponteng school for an earlier holiday
Well, since she completed her exam, what’s wrong taking one day leave right? ( Sounds very horrible hor this mother )
Super twin beds in our Standard Room, what a surprise!
On Friday (last day of school), QQ woke up at extremely high temperature, 39.5 degree C. Perhaps she could not sleep well over the excitement as we planned to go op to Genting. After giving her some medicine, we proceed to our holiday anyway and she slept all the way in car, poor girl!

When we checked into our Standard Room at First World Hotel Tower 2, we were really surprise because
- our room was facing the beautiful Theme Park !
- Standard Room in Tower 1 is a lot more spacious than Standard Room at Tower 2 (silly us, we have been staying Tower 2 all these years!)
- we get 2 Super-Twin beds instead of 2 very narrow twin beds over at Standard Room at Tower 2!
Without wasting time, we quickly unpack everything and bring the kids down to the indoor Splash Pool at First World Indoor Theme Park. Even Kakak went into the hot water pool with us this time, so I did not bring along my camera.
After 2 hours playing in the warm water but freezing cold air, we went up to room to change and then proceed to dinner. After dinner, all they played was the Bumper Car and Carouse. Only Didi alone dares to ride the ice-cream vans on Ride de Paris.
This time, the boys legs are finally long enough so they can drive their own bumper cars, with guidance from their very nice Jie-jie who teach them, one by one 
The boys were spending so much time at the Bumper cars until it closes at night. We did not even have time to utilize our adults pass on the other rides. We could not possibly leave the maid to watch over 3 kids either 
Lesson learnt: Would not buy tickets anymore for myself and hubby next round!

Upon waking up fresh in the morning, we all got ready to check out before we proceed to out door theme park. I get smarter this round, as I bought separate tickets for indoor for the first day and outdoor for our 2nd day. We never get to utilize all rides in one day anyway!

We left Genting at 6.30pm after the outdoor theme park closed. And did I mentioned before that my kids now developed the habit of playing in one place until that place is closed? For instant, Critterland too, scary!!
Overall, this trip was very fun for the kids as they are now older to enjoy the children rides. I am certainly looking forward to our year end trip to Disneyland already. But I am wondering if it is worth buying express pass for our coming Disneyland trip? Any tips to share?
I don’t think there is express pass in HK Disneyland. But I could be wrong since it has been a few years since we’ve been. I know there is the FastPass which you can get at the entrance to the rides in the park. Looks like a fun trip. We’ll be going to HK disneyland too in sept. Its gonna be fun. What is express pass?
Chin Nee, if u visit Disneyland on a weekday, I don’t think u need an express pass

have not been to Genting for years.. really have to make a trip there next year… play till the park closes.. phew… must be exhausted for you too…
As for Disneyland HK, weekday is pretty quiet lo.. try to avoid weekend, long q and lots of time wasted …. I supposed you can buy the express pass, but only a few rides come with express passes.
the bedroom is nice and i like the view too. where did kakak sleep?

yeah i think yr kids will enjoy the disneyland trip but not the loads of walking that they have to do

Yup..no express pass in Disneyland. Only FastPass which is something u collect at different stations.

Wah… I bet the kids can’t wait for yr end to come. We went to HK Disneyland in Nov ‘09 during the sch hols. We went to the park on Wed n Thurs. Crowd was ok. Most rides dun hv super long q’s. Try to avoid w/ends and HK/China public hols.
Nice outing, long time never been Genting. Haha habit to play until the park is closed, that mean you definitely got to stay at Disneyland Hotel loh??
We’ve never taken the girls to Genting but I think Yan Yan will not be able to enjoy most of the rides there right, since she’s not even two.
