A cup of love

It was a very touching moment this afternoon. QQ’s school was celebrating Teacher’s Day today. Three kids from each class were selected to invite their parents to join. Can you imagine how delighted and proud I am this time…. because someone finally notice the “existance” of my super-shy and quiet girl in, hehe….
Although it was a simple ceremony, I was feeling quite nervous. Nervous because I was worry if QQ was feeling too hot waiting so long in the queue, wonder if QQ wants to go to the loo during the long wait, worry if she is too thirsty lining up at the back of the very HOT hall.
Then there goes the song popular song “Gan En De Xin” and the children walked in their line to us. When I saw QQ stood freezing there in front of me with that cup of tea in her hand, the moment felt like forever. And suddenly she forgot to pass me her cup, while everyone beside her had bow and present the tea to their mums. Instead I had to take the cup from my day dreaming girl…Geeeee….

Anyway I am very happy that her school organize such a meaningful event during Teacher’s Day. I am indeed proud of QQ and really thankful to her teacher for giving us to participate in this event.

I attended the same function last year. It was indeed a very touching and heart warming one. I couldn’t hold my tear when my girl presented the cup of tea to me. The organising committees are indeed very thoughtful.
whoa…must be so heart warming
