Kids today are so lucky compare to years back. Unlike us, they attend fun pre-school at quite young age now. They do lots of fun activities like crafting, cooking, and even frequently visit to many interesting places.  All I remember doing in my preschool, was study…homework…..and …..study….

Knowing the importance of quality play, non-profit organizations, societies and even religious centers now even facilitate small playgroups to cater kids in their neighbourhood.

Basically, our playgroup would consist of activities as follow:

• Free Play (parents assist children to solve game task or educational toys)
• Circle Time (interaction learning through singing, story telling, dancing)
• Snack (a break in between activities, also kids get to practice good hygiene, learn to appreciate food)
• Craft Session (making simple craft which may related to a theme of the day)

Facilitated Circle Time

Each night before our play, I’ll remind the boys to sleep early so they wake up looking forward to their play. Not only the kids look forward again to play all the toys there again, mummies (mostly SAHM and slim ones too, *weird*) are looking forward to this weekly meet up session too, to exchange stories about families and kids.

Snack Break

In case you are wondering what my primary school girl is doing up there.  Well, since she goes to school in the afternoon, she has to attend our play as well because I could not possibly leave her alone at home. Lucky her huh!
