I have A ROTAN now
I can’t help but to laugh to myself when I read the comments from friends on Facebook about myself “being abused” on my frequent ranting about the boys.
Once they turn into their monster mode (anytime at even smallest matter), everything get bad to worst. They will pee on their pants, then refuse to change, and want us to carried out all sorts of weird orders, one leading from another.
Two days back, while I was engaged on the phone (asking for a part replacement on my broken blender), Korkor was screaming and crying so badly until I had to order him to be taken out of the house by the maid. *You might wonder why I would not put down the phone first, and talk later once the boys are settled. I can tell you it will never happen as fighting and screaming can just spark in my house anytime of the day, at any odd hour, everyday.

Anyway, once finished my conversation and made an order on the discount office supplies, I went into the room and brought out my camera, to capture a video of the wild crying Korkor in the garden. Instead I found a kind Mrs Neighbour (who stays 4 houses away) standing in front of my gate, checking what’s wrong. Not only that neighbour, but we have kind neighbours from both sides, back, frequently stuck out their head to ask or come over to check if mummy is around. I know they mean well, because everyone knows we have a Kakak at home and they got worried about them being abused by Kakak.
Anyway, I bought a rotan and I hope I don’t have to cane them so frequent until they immune to it!

Hi, first time leaving comment here
Well, Mr. Rotan become my best friend now but as you said I need to restrain myself from bring Mr. Rotan out to much!
Btw, your lil twins are such a cutie pie.
hi,
this is the 1st time leaving comment here also.just want to share the story only.
i also have a rotan at home since my twin 1 year old. I seldom cane them but they really scared it.. it can be your very good helper if you fully utilize it.
Just make sure when the 1st time you want to cane them, you have to silent and cold dowm yourself, then only start cane their leg & back side kuat-kuat let them know the power of Rotan, after that tell them why you cane them…
Last…only use cane when they really do a big misstate and naughty
hope this can help you..
in this photo they look sooo ‘kuai’ wor….
Rotan is good to scare them sometimes. Sigh…my boy is not afraid of the rotan anymore. He said I cane not painful wor….If daddy holds the rotan, he will go and hide.
