Food, and more food in Melaka!

I just love cakes, with LOTS of cream (even better if it is buttercream!).

A yummy butterfly cake with buttercream made of 1 whole chunk SCS butter, decorated by QQ. Ccut and assembly idea I got from this website).

So afraid I would ended up swallow the whole cake to myself, I purposely baked one just before we went back to Melaka so I can take it back. Everyone at home loves it! Even Dad who hates buttercream said its very yummy:)

It feels good to see everyone sitting together eating happily at one table

As I was also always madly craving for steamboat (did not have enough during CNY), I get mum to prepare some herbal chicken soup, meat and prawn while I brought all the frozen food back during our last trip back to Melaka.

I just came to know about this very famous homemade pineapple tarts quite near to my secondary school in Melaka. Find out how this place look like from outside here

Nyonya Chang from Melaka

Each time we go back to Melaka, hubby and I just can’t stop eating from morning till night. Was looking for some good Nyonya Chang but could only get this. Not bad, but I believe there must be better ones. Must really ask Miche if she knows where to get good ones during this coming Dumpling Festival.

70 sen Nasi Lemak at Ikan Bakar area, Crystal Bay

Grilled Plain Siakap

Before we left Melaka, we went to Crystal bay Fishing Village again for Ikan Bakar. Ordered quite a lot dishes and total damage was almost Rm90 for Grilled Fish, Grilled Giant Cockles, Fried Squid, Stir Fried Lala, 2 basket otak-otak, Nasi Lemak and Jar of juices. More pictures on FB. Hubby said very pricey for simple dish like this, but I supposed it is still cheaper than order all the above in town.

Overall, we had a very satisfying trip back and now I am looking forward to my next trip back again :)
