Lousy Health

Gobbling down all the good food really comes with a price. One by one of us got sick, REAL SICK.  Not sure if it was due to the weather change, different tap water from different state or chemical from the China-imported CNY vege, we all went down with diarrhoea!

It starts off with hubby, with sign of mild diarrhoea even before CNY. Then QQ got it on the 2nd of CNY, and we even had to rush her to the hospital on public holiday because she was vomiting non-stop one whole morning. And finally it got to me and not only I was down with mild diarrhoe (luckily it cures quite fast), I was down with a bad fever until I became so weak and was very drowsy. It was so bad that I had to lie on bed for days after that. If you have seen me then you would thought that I took the and over the counter sleeping pills! What a lousy time to be so sick and I seldom fall sick, sigh!!!!

Scary Kids

Besides lousy health, I was in the lousiest mood too, during this CNY. Remember my previous post on my weird behaving boys? During CNY, they behaved so badly until I kept on smacking them. As they were boiling my blood, I was finding fault with hubby too, and couldn’t help but to put all the blame on him for his lousy gene which reflects so much on my kids now. Worst still,on one night, Didi was horribly frightened as if he “saw something” that he WAILED and SCREAMMMM. He even scolded me when I took some ash from the ancestor alter to touch behind his neck (instead of his forehead because I don’t want him to see what I was doing). As if he knows!! , ..**scary**…

I could feel something was not right already and hubby sensed something too. It last for quite a while and luckily Korkor did not wake up. Instead staying another night away from home, we decided to come back a day earlier. I could not wait any longer to settle down the kids immediately!

Hence, in the wee morning of Sunday, we start off our journey with 3 sleeping kids and reach home within just 3 hours. Thank GOD we were not stuck in the worst jam (which took 6 hours just from Karak to Genting Sempah) which was announced in the news later.
