Singapore Final Post: Shopping in SGD
…definitely sounds crazy with the SGD!
But since it was the last day and we do not have plan to visit any place, I decided to visit the Vivo City to pass some handmade ordered by Michelle, a Mama Patch friend.

As we woke up quite late in the morning, we go straight to lunch at Vivo City. Michelle recommended Pu Tien Kitchen (which is located at one corner inside Vivo City’s Food Republic on the top floor).

“Pu Tien” Fried Bun from this restaurant is said the be quite famous. It is S$1.20 each. Well, taste wise, so-so only but it does taste special for first timer like me.

Fried Heng Hua Mee hoon
This Mee Hoon dish looks really beautiful with all the garnish on top of this dish. However taste wise- not bad. Still I prefer my grandma’s chicken mushroom mee hoon the best, hehe…!

Braised Pig Intestine
My brother said this Braised Pig Intestine and Drunken Cockles are some famous dishes over there. Too bad we could not try the cockles as they are sold out that day.

We also had ordered some other simple dishes, and the bill came at S$1xx! Imagine how much after we converted to RM, for some some simple dish like these without any prawns and fish! Quite pain in the wallet though…
After that QQ wanted to buy some gifts for herself but unfortunately, I cannot find any children clothing at reasonable price in Vivo nor in Tangs although they have nice shops selling cigars for adults like perdomo. Branded clothing may be very affordable for those who earn S$ but not for us who earn peanuts RM here
We then drove over to Takashimaya in Orchard Road and I finally found some cheaper alternative clothing for all my kids. Each get one piece, nicely wrapped up in a box with Takashimaya Teddy Wrappers for their Christmas and we finally get to leave Singapore in peace, each with a smiling face

The Food Republic at Vivo city is one of our favourite dining place too in Singapore, well probably we don’t know many good dining places at Singapore. Glad that you got something for the kids!^-^
Have a joyful weekend!

Merry Christmas to u and everyone at home, CN!
I think Taka has got more cheaper kids clothing and more choice there…
Eyewwww….the intestines. Aren’t they supposed to clean them inside out till they look like deflated rubber tyres?
