Didi develops the “enjoyment” of sucking from bottle
Not that I dislike Didi drinking milk, but why out of sudden with bottle ?????
Being exclusively breastfed kids for almost 2 full years, the boys hated formula, what’s more milk from the bottles. As doctor said milk intake is still very important at the age of 2 (especially when the boys are so “mini”) , the maid and I put a lot effort into trying out all sorts of milk and method of feeding. Finally on one fine day, after many many months, they settled down with Pediasure and drink they milk from cup with a straw, YAY!!! *If you are also a mum who has a child who dislike milk, you would know how relief I feel!*
Every day, each boy will drink half cup of milk with straw obediently every morning upon waking up and before going to sleep. And don’t know why, out of sudden, few weeks back, Didi wanted his milk in a bottle! *Arrghhh!!!* (Perhaps he was influenced by QQ, who is very demanding on her milk in bottle, 3 times a day?)
From then on, Didi is hooked on bottle. He is so hooked on the “enjoyment” of sucking from the bottle that he even wanted milk anytime he likes.
Don’t know whether to be happy or sad now as QQ is having difficulty weaning from bottle, and here comes Didi next, sigh…

QQ still bottle feeding? Our dentist told us to let the kids drink from cup from 2y.o. and we did, as drinking from the bottle can be habitual and lead to teeth decay.
Difficult at first, but easy after a while.

Does QQ also drink milk using bottle in the kindy? Sometimes kids are really unpredictable. Can just change like that.
hmm…i guess at this point in time, ensuring the boys drink their milk, you will just have to close 1 eye on it
i am sure QQ will give up her bottle soon…esp when her friends tease her!
hahaha…I know how you feel coz my boy doesnt like milk too. Maybe its just a phase and they will grow out of the bottle soon enough. FOr the time being, just let them drink as much milk as possible.

My girl still dislike milk till now, but I force her to drink a cup of 200ml milk daily. I have to spoon-feeding her as she doesn’t want to drink from bottle or using straw, weird right?

yeah at times feel like wean them off…
i still gv my gals on bottles as when i try to wean them they stop milk intak and since drinking milk is good so i tot dun bother let them use the bottle as long as they drink milk… to all the mummy that able to wean their bb,… good job! : )
