Beautiful Kuantan

Our main purpose going back to Kuantan end of the year, is to pray to their late Grandma.

As usual, it was 2nd SIL who prepared all the dish for that special occasion. She is truly a wonderful lady :)

Ahem…don’t know how to put this practice into words, but this is how my hubby’s family do the *Puak poey*, to check to see if our ancestor has completed their meal. QQ though it sounds “creepy”!

We also make sure that we bring the kids to the beach this time back.

On the first evening, they get to dig and play sand. But I forgot to bring my camera so we actually came back again on the following evening. Haha…I know, many commented that QQ does not look like she is a kindergarden age. Not only she is BIG, she is very tall too hor!

Can you see how deep the water is? It is very fun just standing at the shore, feeling the water rushing to the shore from the strong wave.

During this time, it is actually quite dangerous to play at the sea due to the strong wave. Although RED flag was raised, many still choose to ignore. However parents were seen keeping an eye on their little ones and we dare not even let go their hands, due to the strong wave.

The boys were running around happily, with their father watching them like a hawk while mummy was very busy shooting and zooming around to see if she can finds any eye-catching beach boys.

*Joking* la..where got beach boys at Kuantan beach? Ah pek got plenty la, hehe….

This is the place we love most at Kuantan’s beach, the Mc Donald at Teluk Cempedak!

I actually booked this hut for the boy’s 2nd birthday party during the June’s school holiday but in the end we cancel it, as hubby said it would be too troublesome to ask our friends to travel all the way to Kuantan, just for the boys birthday. It was held instead in KL.

So now you know what this place is called :) A Mc D in the middle of the lush forest, sitting at the beach just across the beautiful South China Sea. Isn’t this the most beautiful Mc Donald ?

After that we drove up further along Jalan Beserah, to a quite famous seafood restaurant, Pak Su. Hubby brought me there once when I first visited Kuantan and this time, we went there with additional 3 kids :)

This restaurant is famous for their stuff crab (Rm6 per piece). Tell me, how to keep myself discipline when I am on such a good eating trip. I would be lucky already if I go not have face acne by eating like that.

However because there were only us and the kids, we only ordered normal dishes like vege, tofu and chicken besides this stuff crab. Taste wise, is so-so but the environment is good because it is situated just on the beach.

Oh yes, this restaurant is halal too!
