Daughters are precious
Few morning back when I was having my breakfast at a nearby coffee shop, IĀ had a chat with a lady which I “tap-toi” with. Besides talking about the cheap car insurance, we talked about how many children we have. When I told her I have an older girl who is at school besides my twin boys, she exclaimed, “Wah…Luckily!”
Girls are just so precious in our modern families. I told hubby, out of 3 children we have now, we will only have one child coming back frequently with her family (hubby and kids) in future. Can’t depend much on my boys sending me to the market, or shopping right?

QQ with her handmade Rose Clip
I like shopping for girlish stuff and still keeping many of QQ’s babies (pinkish) belongings. Who know we might one day have another girl again?

I ordered these clips from Pei Yi (owner of Nivnivhandmade), as I like to “decorate” my girl’s hair, especially when she is wearing her ballet outfit. From the beautiful handmade, Pei Yi had obviously put in so much effort and love when she sew this pretty clip (by order) for QQ.
How to resist shopping for girls all time? Instead of passing her old belongings away (you know, I just can’t as we are still secretly hoping to have another girl in future), I have am also keeping many of her older belongings into her time capsule. . How sweet if I am able to see her own daughter using them one day in future

Yes modern day gals are precious… Very precious…
Boohoohooo me n hub gonna be old folks.. Lonely ones… I better love hub more…
yes..they are very precious and generally very attached to the parents..but upbringing play a big role too..
There are so many things to buy for a girl. And the choices are so much more than buying for boys. I am so happy that I have a chance to shop for girl things now
Yes, agree, there a whole lot more of whatever things/designs/ styles to explore for girls’ clothings and accessories! Boy ones are more rigid.
Yes, before I hava kids, I told my hubs that I must have one girl at least!
Thanks for the mention, Chin Nee :-D. Can I link this page to FB and also nivniv blogshop?
Majority, daughters will have parents’ heart. Son will only follow their wife…….nice hair clips for QQ.
Yes agreed with you, having a daughter is great. Have someone accompany when shopping, chatting and a “live barbie” for me to dress and makeover with LOL.
dressing up a boy is so boring! @_@
Agree with you. My two girls are very precious to me, but they are growing up too fast. Ashleigh will start high school next year and Caitlin will be entering primary school. Boohoo!
oh yes, I am so glad that I have girl too, hehee… lots of dressing up and accessories to buy for her… and never ending shopping for her wardrobe. Everytime I see cute stuff, i just could not help but to buy it.
Which is why I wouldn’t mind a third one
Yup…generally one can count on daughters coming home regularly but some boys are o.k. too - depends on the bonding, the attachment, I guess. Normally, they’re into sports and lots of outdoor stuff, so seldom home during their growing up years…so not so attached. I go back almost every day…
waaa…now u really make me feel so lucky for having another girl in me now =)
