Trendy of being Toothless

Although all her baby teeth is still strongly intact, QQ had a new tooth erupted on the bottom wall of her mouth. We only found out a week later and I quickly arranged to have the front baby tooth extracted.

The extraction procedure was a bliss and here she is smiling happily after the extraction. She even love her new “toothless look” as she thought that she looks very “in” being toothless. At first, I was puzzled why would she think it’s pretty until I visited her class and saw that almost all her classmates have one or two teeth fallen. Now I understand the importance of being “common” so that she feels “FIT IN” the majority!

  7. Hi Chin Nee,

Teng Hong had the same “double teeth” problem. Later after a few months, one of the teeth came out by itself and the new comer tooth move forward by itself to the correct position.

The second baby tooth gets wobbly 2 months later. I took him to dentist last school holiday but his dentist said no need to extract, just let it came out by itself. Crooked teeth or not, it will depend on the space available and jaw development.

The dentist’s nurse’s boy also had the same problem, she waited until the teeth came out by themselves and she told me the new permanent teeth are not crooked.

  8. I wrote about Teng Hong’s shark teeth here:
