As I find that playgroup is very interesting for little kids, I used to run a playgroup for the buddhist society when QQ was 2. Reason I do not run one now is because there is too much preparation and with 2 boys, it can be very unmanageable. Therefore I brought the boys to attend another playgroup run by church nearby my place.

It is indeed fun for both mothers and kids to attend simple play like this. Not only the kids have a chance to mix with kids from the same age group, they also get to expose to some simple activites like Singing, Crafting and such.

In fact, anyone can just start up their own playgroup, if you can find a group of mothers from your area, and perhaps rotating using the home of the participant, if you could not find a place to run it. Below here, I am sharing some guidelines what we do during playgroup.
