Bloody sight at home all time

ALL TIME MAN!!

If I have got a weak heart, I’ll probably die of heart attack already by now. It’s the boys. They are frequently chasing, running here and there, falling and knocking on almost everywhere. If not on sharp corners, they will just fall flat on the hard floor tiles. And each time, its either head, nose or mouth directly down.

3 days back, Korkor fell on mouth and his teeth cut his lips. He felt so swollen on his bleeding lips that he was pressing a blanky to his mouth. Luckily it happened at night so he fell asleep soon.

A day after that, my clumsy Korkor he fell from sofa and hit the hard floor directly again and now he has a big swell on his forehead.

And last night, it was Didi’s turn. Both the boys were running around the living hall, pushing their little Ikea stools. Somehow, Didi tripped over and again, went down directly on his mouth and a big piece of his lips skin came out, hanging 1cm long on his upper lips!!

He was bleeding and crying so hard, and kept on licking on the hanging skin :( We don’t know what to do, and since bleeding stop soon, I quickly put him to sleep. Then hubby and I decided to use a pair of scissors to snip it off otherwise it would be painful if he keeps on pulling the skin the next morning….eee….very geli u know!

Luckily they did notĀ  cut into any sharp corners of the tiles on our uneven flooring (@!@&$# stupid lousy workmanship of the house!). Because of the danger, my neighbour even change the whole house to wooden flooring as once their son fell and cut his chin very badly until he required many stitches.

Sigh…..It is so tiring having to live in fear all day long with the kids at home as accident with kids at such age is so common :(

  1. Oh dear. hope he’s feeling better. Better keep things clear in the house in case they trip over or something.

  2. I hope they will learn their lessons and less chasing around… it is not easy to have twin boys around hor…

  3. hope they learn the painful lesson ooo…i can imagine how scary it was.

  4. OMG! Hope the wounds heal quickly. Problem with kids their age is, they don’t seem to learn. I know my boy doesn’t. Fall down and cry now…5 mins later doing the same thing again

  5. Aiyo!!! poor boys! Hope the wound will heal soon.

My baby girl also never learnt. Like to climb the stairs and fell down so many times, still climb. And like to climb on the dinning chair too. Fell flat on the floor many times too and yet, still climbing.

  6. Poor boy, get well soon!
Chin Nee, kids being kids, they forget very fast and will do it again and again, sigh.

  7. Poor boy. How about put carpet on the floor? At least it is not as hard as floor tile so they won’t get hurt when fall down.

  8. it is not easy…I hope they are ok now…

  9. Oh No!!!

  10. kids are stubborn, they never learn! Like my boys, i can see bruises everywhere!!

  11. Gosh… hope the wounds r healing well. Really big headache to keep active kids from hurting themselves.

  12. OMG, that sounds terrible with the 1cm skin hanging on his lip!!! I had that constant fear too when Sherilyn was 1-3yo. She was so so accident prone - broke & squashed her thumb, broke her forehead and fell down endless times. After #3 came along, I was so preoccupied with Baby that I just stopped worrying about Sherilyn!
