Does celebration really matters?
Nothing done to celebrate our 7 years together yesterday. Not even a kiss or a hug. NOTHING!
I thought I could run a quick errand yesterday, picking up something special for dinner. QQ fell asleep the moment I announced that we are going out. Didi had a lousy day and was cranky all day long. I had to carry him (only in standing position) from 2pm onwards. I talked to my customer on phone with him yelling behind. My customer asked if she should call back, but Nah….no use as he won’t stop screaming too.
We did not go out in the end. And I had to just make do with whatever we have for dinner (only one dish for dinner, Ayam Pongteh) Good that I cooked one BIG POT (one whole chicken with 5 big potatoes). Each of us fell asleep as soon as our head touches the pillow. It was too tiring for us, having to manage 3 demanding children.
When I lied down on bed, I asked myself, does a celebration that really matters? When I looked at everyone who’s soundly asleep on bed, I told myself: “That I feel blessed and grateful to have my loved ones are in pink health and safe beside me on this special day. THAT’S ALL WE REALLY NEED and THAT”S ALL MATTER :)”

:-). You’re right, anniversary is just another day. Having everyone together in happiness and health is indeed the best blessing of all. Happy Anniverssary, Chin Nee! May you and hubs have many many many more to come until cucu cicit and beyond! :-D.
So many celebrations within a month is indeed tiring. Nevertheless, Happy 7th Aanniversary to you & hubby
yess u r right! i even forgotten about the anniversary date too
as long as our loved one is with us safe and sound, ok ba… =)
Yaya, everyone in good health is more important. I don’t celebrate our own birthday and anniversary too.
We never celebrate it even once, coz totally forgot abt it! Haha!
everyone ping ping on on, healthy, happy…very bless already
June is a very special month for you. Happy Memories.
yea i agree with u. no worries - there r many many more celebrations 2 come.
you are indeed blessed with such wonderful family….nothing can compare to that…
Happy belated 7th wedding anniversary… you are celebrating it everyday of your life, God bless, nothing more important than having your loved ones around you.
Usually I don’t make a big thing out of it. I just give my family an excuse to eat a scrumptious meal.
look on the bright side, celebration is just about to let other earn your money!
the moment of whole family being together is priceless, even though there is screaming and crying sound as a background music!
We don’t celebrate either, not anniversaries or our birthdays, only the kid’s birthdays and even then, usually on a small scale only. Like you said, it’s not the celebration that matters, it is what you have that matters. Happy Anniversary!
