Super weaning tips
I tried several methods to wean the boys.
First Attempt: Applying the super bitter snake leaves juice. Not enough bitter once they get overly desperate. Failed!
Second Attempt: Apply some white vinegar on my teats. Didi is super smart so he suck until the vinegar is gone. Failed!
Recently the boys appetite get really worse and Didi is as thin as “LIDI” now. Both of them no longer eat porridge and do not want rice either. Nor they have any other milk except for suck…SUCK…SUCK… at this milk-less cow all day long! And because of this, I get real S.T.R.E.S.S and very very desperate wanting to wean them off.
Third Attempt……
Hence I tried another method, recommended by Irene (also a mom to a pair of twin boys), that is to use Nipple plaster (you can get this from Triumph/Wacoal - very pricey adhesive to invert and stick nipple into breast so you can go bra-less without having your perky nipples shown when you wear bare-backs.
Result: It works ! The boys hate the sight of it (they feel really geli!!) as I told them the doctor had to plaster mummy’s nen-nen coz it’s hurt. So each time they come near, snuggling at my chest, I will show them and they run away. I only had to plaster myself first 3 days and now they have totally forgotten about their addiction.
So do you think I still breastfeed them?
Oh, yes, I still do. I miss them a lot. In order not to let them know, I only feed them in the middle of the night after they fall asleep (must only do when they are in unconscious state). Didi still wakes up (drowsy state) once or twice to nurse. Last night, Korkor managed to slept from night till morning without any feeding. I hope they stop waking up in the middle of the night soon, so all of us could have a better sleep, FINALLY!!!!!!!
Haha..:) A mth ago I hv tried plaster tat was told by a friend of mine. Yes, is really work very fast tho.. After 1 day, Myra doens’t come to me for BM during day time but I do feed her during sleeps.
But 2 weeks ago, I failed coz I tried 2 feed her again during day coz she doens’t want FM n solid food during her bad flu. So I’m pity seeing her not eating then I BF her back again during day.

night time, give stronger formula. so that all can sleep without waking up…

Ooh… glad it works for u. At least u can feel less stress.
Btw, didi is the one holding Kitty Cat? So sweet seeing small children holding soft toy. My boy will just take or the most hug for 1min and then throw them on the floor!

Glad you finally found a method to wean them off successfully. Less one stress for you. But do you intend to wean them completely? If so, better not nurse them at nite, mah (even if they’re sound asleep). I can relate to how you miss nursing the boys. I, too was having difficulty weaning my gal. Finally, it took me a chickenpox ordeal to make it happen! (Yea, me, having chickenpox at this age!- that’s another story..) I had to show her the spots n blisters all over my chest n breasts and explained that I couldn’t feed her. Obviously, the fisrt few nites were so heartbreaking. She was crying for me n all I could do was just consoled her. Nobody in the family had much sleep then. I miss nursing her till today….
I still direct feed Ariel at night but slowly cutting down to be not too often….
looks like so complicated to wean but why not just completely wean off?
Oh my God. U mean I have to wait soooooo long before I can sleep in peace?! Walau…I have been trying to wean T2 by going out so hubby has to give her formula but she hardly drinks, only 60ml at most & rather wait for Mommy to come home first to have her milk
But why not wean them 100%? I am trying to wean Baby too. Hmmm, I must get that bust aid/ plaster very very soon!
Eh forgot to ask. Your boys didnt try to remove the plaster meh? I am very certain Baby C will try to peal it off. Let me try first….

Poor mummy, still got to wake up in the middle of the night to feed them. Hope u do get enuf of sleep though.
