Visit to the Science Centre

We took the opportunity to visit the Science Centre at Bukit Damansara 2 weeks back while they were having this Free Entry promotion for the month of April. It was a great opportunity to expose QQ to science as she frequently have difficult questions to ask about science and the universe. However most of the things exhibit there is still difficult for her to understand at this age.

BIG HEAD QQ posing in front of the funny mirror and we almost laughed our heads off.

Surprisingly, there are many new set up play area for the kids. Everything is still so clean and new, so I suppose they just got it done a while ago. There is a room for baby and toddler to play and do art and craft.

This is another section, a very creatively set up play with lots of rides for bigger kids to play. My boys loveeeed this place.

A car with spring at the bottom. Shopping mall should get some of these instead of placing those that “swallow” our coins!

Since we were already in Damansara area, we then proceed to 1 Utama Shopping Mall after the Science Centre closed at 5pm. It was a very tiring day, but fun for the kids as they played to the max on that day!

  1. is this the Pusat Sains Negara ? Amber had a class excursion there but it was not so kiddy friendly, lots on Angkasawan and other hi tech stuff that the 4 year old doesn’t understand but the Science Center you went to, looks ‘FUN’.

  2. Sounds like a great place to visit! So near my place yet I never brought my kids there. Terrible mum ho ho ho.

  3. I wanted to take my son there during the last school holidays but they were closed for renovation at that time. Been there a few times, one of them was to attend my son’s classmate’s birthday party and the other time a party organised by Cartoon Network. Overall, our experience was fun though tiring!

  4. We went there in Jan this year when they had this free entry too, before closing for reno and reopening in April. So, it’s free until April only? We thought of going again… looks fun with all the new stuff there.

  5. Looks fun! What will be the entrance fee like if it is not free? Got to take the kids there. :)

  6. Wow, look not bad at all….mmm, good idea to bring my boys there…

  7. Looks cool. Been there once but I think I’ll wait for Ethan to grow older before bringing him there :) QQ definitely is at the right age for that :)

  8. I’ve been thinking of taking my kids there but am not sure if it’s suitable for 5-6yr olds. Guess most of the things there are for older schoolchildren. But the play area will be fine..

  9. Great outings!
