I gave up with DSLR
Before I returned the Nikon D90 to my brother, I brought the boys to a nearby park and did some shooting again. Boy, it was hot and too tiring. I hate our weather now and I remembered it wasn’t so hot when I was younger! (or is it I have higher body heat now that I am bigger and fatter?)

Now that they are growing up, it is so hard to catch both of them in a picture

I tried positioning the boys together and getting them to put their heads in between the iron bar so they will not run around. But one was moody and refuse.

D90 with its original kit lense. I like the bokeh effect at the background, but still effect is not as good as a bokeh lense hor…

Didi still moody
Korkor (Mummy’s darling boy) seemed more cheerful that morning, as he always be.

Both of them do look a bit different, do you notice? Korkor has more of his father and Didi has more of dono-who (some said my brother).

After around 30 mins spending at the park, we adjourned to a coffee shop for breakfast.

In order to catch a few more shots of them together, I had to let them sip play with my cup of tea until it stained their white shirt!

Ok, that’s all from me on Nikon D90.Picture quality still very very far from what Jazzmint took, right? I am so dissappointed.
Also, I realised it is not as easy to do photography with young little boys, which still requires a lot of attention, in terms of feeding, carrying them. So I have decided a heavy camera like that is definitely not for me. No time to focus and care for the expensive camera as I need to place my full attention to the boys during outing.
Might consider a 4/3 later, if budget permits.

your boys are so cute! For me, both LOOK ALIKE. Nice shoot on them sharing a cup of tea.
Yaayyyy…4/3 is the way to go, Chin Nee!!! I’ve been eyeing for soooo long!!!
hi Chin Nee, look like u wanna to change your proffesion to be a photographer, hehe…
You did a great job in taking your boys’ pics.
wah..no need give up lah, keep trying;)
I still prefer those point and shoot type.. DSLR.. way to heavy and bulky for me
Haha never mind you still can explore your habit later. Me too looking forward to get a DSLR but not so soon.
the enjoyful part - can play wt that cup of tea! and mummy didn’t scold…
not bad mah. but i agree with you on how bulky it can be. i only bring mine out when i can really afford the mah-fun-ness. most time it’s the usual digital camera. i’m eyeing on the canon s90. maybe u shld go check it out too.
Cannot compare with Jazz la, she’s a professional
We all just simply shoot only…haha. Anyhow, the photo quality with a dSLR is still way better than the regular compact, though a lot more mafan
