How the kids addicted to Lion Dance
Thanks for dropping by at this blog. Time is short, and the weather is real bad. So we do not do much visiting this year and so sad I did not manage to meet up with all friends as I planned to.
My mum’s home in Melaka was like an oven so we either stayed in our air con room or drives around to enjoy air con and sight seeing in our car. Kuantan, on the other hand, has very strong wind but still the air was very hot, really beh-tahan.
Although many people in KL complain the weather is hot, but for us, our home here facing the jungle is so cooling and air smells so fresh and nice.

We went next door to QQ’s ex-nanny’s house to “Pai Nien” the moment we reaches here. It is really nice to be back here again, and now it is home for me here (QQ claimed that Mummy orang Melaka, Papa orang Kuantan, and she orang KL!)
Lion Dance at Sg.Long Buddhist Society
This year we came back just in time to join the Sg.Long Buddhist CNY gathering. Lots of great food there from the potluck and I must say that everyone done a great job and contribute a lot to the extension project of the centre.
Boys in their sis’s pre-school on CNY Open day
On Thursday, QQ’s preschool had the CNY Open House. It is funny to see the boys helping themselves with a seat each among the kids the moment food is served in their sister’s class.
Like last year, this year they engage Lion Dance performance too. I love to take the opportunity to expose the boys to the loud noise at lion dance to get them used to it.
We had fun going to places to catch the lion dance. Do you and your kids do the same too?

but of course live show is the best lah.
Lynn’s school has CNY Open house yesterday. Both kids are scared of the Lion Dance! LOL! Lynn clinched tightly to hb. While Hao…. cry louder and louder when the Lion dance ppl come near us. At the end, I walked away with the boy.
Oh QQ look so grow up on 1st photo. Yes kids love Lion Dance huh, my girl keep tell me she saw that b4 when the Lion Dance appear on TV screen.

CNY was hot like oven anywhere. the tap water burns hot and we bath 3-4 times a day.. but in the spirit of CNY, we still did our visitings and catch up on lion dance shows. kids have most fun eh ??
My 2 kids love lion dance too and yes, we went around to search for lion dance for them to see. Hubby even bought 1 dvd lion dance for YX to watch and he has been wathcing them evernigh without fail. haha…
my boys love lion dance too. my dad even bought a set of lion dance and the big buddha head for the boys to play. usually, shan leo will be the “lion”, and the rest of us will play the drum, etc very noisy ah!!!
