Twin boys at 19months+
I am really surprise, how quick the boys learn to talk, able to greet and communicate with strangers, and now almost diaperless, even at night! Didi has not been peeing in his diaper for the past 2 weeks at night. Most interesting of all is that he is actually waking me up in the middle of the night to pee! I have to take out his long pants and cloth diaper very quickly and rushed him to the basin in the dark (we turn off even the bathroom light now as we love sleeping in dark with our room dim with the streetlight). And for the past 2 nights, same thing happen to Korkor too (so you can imagine how kelam-kabut I am right now as they still need to be carried, one after another, taking off diaper and pants, run here and there, then putting back diaper and pants). I have even sold some of my cloth diapers and I think all my favourite Goodmama and Bumgenius CD will have to go out soon too. Sigh….such a quick end to my cloth diapering journey. Don’t you think they got matured too quickly?
Amusing breastfeeding journey
They are still very attached to me, and still would not take any other milk. Other than drinking, they love to have me as a pacifier as well whenever I am around (plan to wean them soon, but that will be another story). Since they could “talk” and communicate pretty well now, Didi even specific the position that he wants me to be, especially when I breastfeed him on bed. During daytime, since it is most easiest for me to feed both of them standing in front of me, they even face each other, and it is so damn funny to see them “chatting and giggling away” with each other while taking one breast each in their mouth!
Although there were so many times when I wish to throw them out of my window, especially when they were not feeling well, cranky and won’t get a bite. However I must also admit that I do still enjoy taking care of them, right from baby stage, watching the boys grow right in front of my own eyes. Sometimes I just cannot believe I have actually gone through so much of madness with both of them and now they have grown up so much. How time flies…..
19mths…i think my Barnabas stopped peeing at night around that age too or maybe later but i remembered it was b4 he turns 2yo. looks like boys are pretty fast eh.
and i still cant imagine how u bf while they stand. got pix or not? hehehe
ur boys are great!! go diaperless at nite so fast, amazing ooo!! i can imagine u in the kelam kabutness situation in the wee hour hahahaa.
and i behtahan LOL reading about ur boys standing in front of u enjoying their ‘tasty’ pacifier and chat at the same time!! sure kelakar gila!!! oh, i do have the same feeling like u, feels like throwing my gal out of the window too when she happily grills my nerve.
yes i must say u r one super-mommy to take care of twin boys. hehe standing and breast-feed somemore chatting with one another .. that’s really comical. they are good .. diaperless at only over a year old. my son at 5 is only diaperless 2 months back.

ur very lucky ur boys are diaperless at early age, rye li still needs diapers at nite!!!. so cute that they wake u up at night to pee and even cuter than u can bf them standing and those 2 having a conversation some more. trying 2 imagine that scene. lol!
Great! No need to wrap their bottom anymore. Can toilet train them (stand and pee). Aaahhh… the house sure filled with warmth listening to both of the TWINs communicating.
Oh Chin Nee, can you share with me how you teach/train the boys almost diaperless now? My dd also 19 mths and I’m having difficulty to potty train her let alone diaperless at nite
