Effectiveness of my weekly slimming massage

As my tummy is getting so big now (blame it on my overly good appetite) I have been getting a Chinese massage aunty over for slimming massage once week and she has been here for 3 sessions. Each session last for about 1.5 hours (Rm70 for lower body massage ) to 2 hours (Rm90 for a full session) with a hot tummy mask included. Not sure if it is really effective, I was also advice to wear “higher pants” similar to what some labeled as the big ugly Grandma panties because low cut is leaving a mark on my lower protruting belly. Despite all done, I still need to change my diet. Instead of not eating rice, I eat less now and eat only wholemeal and brown rice. I hope I can slim down naturally and hope I will get the result I want just like what the best diet supplements can produce. Wish me luck, so that I can look like a more “presentable”  WAHM soon!

  1. my hubby has been taking some home made fruit+vege juice every night since June 09. he replaces his dinner with that fresh juice. sometimes morning will also take it too, before breakfast. he has slimmed down, from 75kg to 72kg :P not a very significant weight drop but at least his bulging 6mth old pregnant-alike tummy is smaller now. this recipe is more to detox our body i guess, remove the inner dirt first :) he gotto keep pulling up his pants lately. hahaha. u can give it a try. eg : passion fruit + orange + apple + celery. take the ‘zha’ too, and sure feel kenyang. this drink is high in fiber!

  2. Good luck! Hehe I know what u mean about the higher pants thingy… but it doesn’t help that my work pants are low waist… haha cannot imagine la wearing undies that goes baove it.

    I never trusted slimming pills, no matter how safe they say they are.

  3. Grandma panties? ha ha..! You can pair these with some Mom’s Jeans (high, high waist jeans).
    Cannot forgo rice altogether..our serving size should be the size of our fist. Carbo bagi energy. I still cannot restrict my eating too much, nanti kurang susu! Have to engage a personal trainer, maybe? Aiyoh, mahal!

  4. Chin Nee, I’ve been religiously applying Slimming Cream brand Losyen Mustajab by Dunia Herbs & its main ingredients is ginger & lime. It does work! The ‘lembik’ part of my tummy decrease & now mostly below the belly button. I do sit-up too & sauna & inside the sauna steam pot, I immersed ginger slices in it so inhaling ginger somehow done me good! Feels de-stress after that.

    Now, I think I do need body-wrap like I used to do to tighten muscles & massage like yours too. Me too never believe in slimming diet!

  5. hehehe…At least you get to massage ya, I am still trying to get there…right now I just eat and eat and eat nia…and most of the times at home I look like some hag nia..and there was even one time when I was mistaken for an Indon maid when I answered the door with my daughter in a sling…that was before I bought your beautiful sling!

    My normal weight was about 56-58kgs before pregnancy, and now I am 65kg-ish…my colleague recommended this protein drink, Shape Works, and it actually works for her. After her delivery, she takes it daily and combine with a healthy diet and some supplements, she is able to fit into her early 20s baju…she is now in her mid 30s
