A typical day of a SAHM with twin boys

As the boys (now at 19 months) hardly nap now (only once a day), I no longer enjoy long online working hours. For the 2 hours nap, I have to reply emails, enquiries, update worksheet when receive order, kepo-ing and visit my friends in FB, take pictures, edit them and then upload the products and my blog pictures, snap the pads, make arrangement and pack things for shipping, go out run errand, pick up stocks from my tailor, and finally blog, chat, bake (if I have time)!

*Now you see*

For instant, this is what they did when I want to take picture of my sling for my website. As they just recovered from their flu and cough and have better appetite recently, now they both look almost the same again! Gosh, even myself can’t even recognise who is who now!

*Now you don’t*

As they were playing at the grill door, blocking my lighting, kept on appearing in my many camera clicks, then go play on the electric plugs (sigh….modern plugs are situated so much lower now at the risk of children touching them), we shooed them away.

“WAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!”

And this is what happen usually when I am in a rush to get things done, so that I can meet delivery and reply mails. I got stuck afterward for hours, trying to soothe my *si beh cheung hei* boys down, nurse them, coax them and finally by the time they fell asleep, their “want-to-play” sister is back from school again!

So now you know why it is so hard to get just one simple email or quotation replied from SAHM like me. Having a maid is not much better when it comes to managing the boys as they are also older now, and know who to choose to carry them.

Breastfeeding Pacifying twins @ 19 months

Tell you, they even pakat to suckle together, face to face, play, giggle and laugh while suckle from my poor boobs. If the first one let goes of my poor overly-dry dangling boob, he will ask another to “tutup baju” also. But if the other half refuse, one will get very *boh-kam-wan* and continue suckle for comfort at his side until there is no ending for me :(

  2. Hee hee this is what usually happens in my home to..! It’s good to have understanding clients..now Zuleyka pandai to “cheer on” when her brothers wrestle with each other..but whenever her brothers (esp no. 1 & no. 2) head to her, making her their “doll”, the wailing starts…

  3. Your boys so handsome Chin Nee. That’s is what we called ‘MOTHER’ hang in there friend! muaks

  4. Yeah it is a tough life for SAHM but don’t worry they will grow up very fast. :)

Anyway I wish u all the best in yr business :) *i m one happy customer*

  6. Yup, this is what happens to me too. It’s so, so, so hard to work at home with 2 kids and 1 very clingy, boops-addicted toddler. I tell ya, I am so, so, so exhausted and ‘charn’ now.

  7. Hahahahaha ur si beh cheung hei boyz are so cute!! glad that their appetite is back on track again :) i really salute u for able to do soooo much with soooo little time. GAMBATEH!!!

yeah, 2 hours seem too short for so much-to-do :(

  11. seems that you need to clear a lot of things in those 2 hours time :) can’t imagine when they give up nap!

  12. I truly understand how havoc can it be at times when the kids keep clinging to de mother. Imagine sitting there just to entertain them while eyeing on the pile of laundry to wash, pile of clothes to fold, staring at the vacum cleaner in de hope can do all de works without any disturbances, but I just have to wait them to Zzzzz.

  13. My 19mth old gal still naps twice a day but shorter naps now. I’m already all “tied up” with one breastmilk-hungry fella & another school-going toddler; can imagine how it is with you..Anyhow, have comfort that you’re doing a good job :-) Btw, the boys look so cheeky and same..difficult to tell them apart now, huh. And I love the “orh nee”.. reminds me of my late grandma (Teochew also)..

  14. Very understand your situation. Boys are so much active and notty compared to girl, furthermore you have 2.
Nice Orh Nee, I love this dessert.

  15. TABEK!

  16. chin nee, i really have to salute you! besides managing the boys & QQ, you still have a long list of things to do!!! keng ah!

  17. AHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! Chin Nee! I could not stop laughing at the part about your twins playing with your boobs! My Dot Dot now loves to make me bare my chest and then she will “play” with both of them sucking a few mouths on eash side while one of her hand will twirl, rub, caress and pinch my nipples….I feel so “used”! hehehehe

  18. Thanks for sharing. continuous follow-up, and I recommend you.
