GOD, please make my boys love the COW more
It is really torturing when we mothers are running out of milk, and the baby (for my case, babies) are still sticking to me like crazy. I tried taking raw fenugreek, but guess what, the good effect of engorgement only lasted for 3 days. Later my body went back to it’s normal lazy self and does not produce much anymore.
My boys ended up sticking to me all time like superglue, keep on wanting to suckle. Recently even Korkor rejected all kinds of formula. Yes, they are having their 3rd and 4th molar coming out on top. Pretty quick for 16 months right?
Although it can be frustrating torturing my breasts breastfeeding my 16 month old boys, I do enjoy funny moments with them too. Each time they want to be nursed, they will even call me “duduk-duduk” at the low sofa, so both of them can stand in front of me reaching their “milking pipe”.
Not only that, my boys can also be very choosy sometimes. As if able to see how much milk it contains, they can even tell me “Mummy, no more!” with just a few suckles and want to switch to another side which is being dominated by another party.
See the fun of breastfeeding twins? I really cannot imagine what will happen and how they will react when I decide to wean them off one day. If only they can love the real cow more instead of ME!

they are smart boys and know that nothing can compare to mommy’s milk. mommy’s milk is THE best even though only a few drops.
Hehehe…at least you are still wanted, which is a good thing.
wow, they can say duduk? so clever ler!!! shan rae still dun want to speak *sigh*
Lol yes I do enjoy the fun part even though I’m not having twin.
My Hao will also sort of telling us this side no more milk and he wants to change to the other side.
chin nee, i’m going to remind you of that time u were struggling to feed them your milk when they were just born.
…i know la, you wish you have more milk for them also now but at least they do want ur milk over cow’s milk mah. smart babies these two.
anyway, if u are worried about their calcium intake, perhaps give them food which are high in calcium so u don’t have to worry abt them not wanting cow’s milk?
i also have very funny stories with my son. everytime he’s bored, he’ll go “nen nen”. but i do love those moments with him. moments only i can have. perhaps, you can try goat’s milk because they’re not as sweet as cow’s milk.
Cute and smart boys…my son oso have 3-4 molars now.
One night accidentally bite me…and my nipple bled. Luckily it healed after few days after applying Bepanthen.
Now..try and drink more soups(with red dates)everyday. I find it helps in milk production. Like how it did during our confinement…plus of course get enough rest and nutrition too!
Cheers Chinnee and Good Luck in this lovely journey we are both in it
