Unhygienic Kakak
It happens again, and she thought no one was seeing her.
Hubby usually leaves home at 7am and I only wake up at 7.30am. This morning I woked up early and peeped her from my room window. Usually she would take out the rubbish from house to throw at that hour. Hubby is a very fussy person, and she is required to wash her hand outside the house after touching the bin before she comes into the house and touches anything else. So this morning (and also other morning, I suppose), she just casually comes in (without even bother to wash her hands), go straight to the washing machine and took out the clean clothes out to hang!
She was so shocked when I came down immediately from my room and confronted her. Tell me lies here and there, “ini tangan kena, ini tak kena” and all sorts of stupid lie until she herself also confuse. Sigh..she has been working with us almost 2 years and we are going to renew her this coming May.
Like how Mama Pumpkin posted on her blog, well I know they are still human. I have already try closing on eye all the time, seeing that she is taking care of the kids well. Not that I am fussy or what, but why does she wanna take short cut in all her job and do things sneakily behind us? Sigh….Kakak ….oi….Kakak!!!
Sigh, sometimes is very difficult to close one eye leh cos we have small kids at home.
cos at the end of the day, everyone is LAZY!
I can close 1 eye on something else but not about HYGIENCE. If she really help in taking care of your kiddos, I think it’s still acceptable. Afterall, it’s hard to get an obedient maid. Right?
I guess she is lazy, feel troublesome, not her habit….
That’s right, Chin Nee..we cant be closing one eye forever. In my case, once in a while HAVE to tell her off, if not the mistakes continue (she also thinks that I dont know). Tired to nag. But when she putar belit jalan cerita sampai dia pun confuse (same like your maid i suppose)..haa that’s when the time I berleterrrrr..
what can i say…after i treated my maid so well, gave her RM250 as raya angpow and parcel clothes for her whole family..she ran away. i was with my kids who were hospitalized for pneumonia, when i came home, she was missing. lucky there wasn’t any money at home and she didn’t know where my jewelry was. she only managed to take some of my kid’s toys…
Hmm….really have to close one eye if you have a maid at home.
Because it’s your clothes, not her clothes.
Same goes with my ex-helper, her pails, toilet, room, fan, floor mat, windows are spanking clean. Other parts of the house? Looked like she just clean them cos she had to…
they’re like that, simply do and that’s all. i have that experience too. just tell her again anf keep one eye close
i am also like your hubby. i am very particular about such hygiene! i think you will just have to do more spot checks on her
I suspected my maid personal hygiene also question mark. Then I told her specifically to brush her teeth 2x after dentist visit. She dare dare tell me she brush 4X.. PENGSAN or not.. lazy n lots of stories..
i oso cannot tahan throw rubbish oredi didn’t wash hands. they r all the same la. i had a previous part-time cleaner put my kids carpet on top of the toilet bowl. she kena nicely from me … so angry!! so usually i spy on them.
Eeeekkkk…why like that?? I always wash my hand after I throw the rubbish with soap, some more..hehe…even wipe wipe my darling boy buttock after make ‘biz’, I wash my hand with soap….I think it is a mentally thinking lar…they, themselves not hygiene, how to expect them to be hygiene when work with other people….headache, headache…
ai…mine oso same lah, after feed the dog, then she go collect my dried clothes :S…..i just gave her a 1 hour long lecture cause she made me so so so mad!!
My MILs maid is also the same. Taking advantage of my MILs liberal and chin chai ways and the fact that my MIL depends on her to help with my bedridden FIL, the maid also lawan cakap and even worse now, she is “whore-ing” herself to the next door bachelor who looks like a sotong kering….
My hubby tells me that my MIL is going to tell her off this weekend, and if still no improvement, my MIL is going to send her back…
