After reading so much about this nice Japanese restaurant at The Garden, we decided to visit Yuzu. I planned to order the Kobe Beef for hubby to try since I wish to treat hubby on this expensive meal but to my surprise the slice beef is priced at Rm150 for only 100g , not Rm88 as I read from some blogs

Knowing that it will surely turn tasteless for hubby at such price, hence I picked Wagyu beef (read lots of good review on these beef cubes) but to my dismay they were out of stock too. We ended up with something more expensive than the Wagyu beefs (forgot what these longer cubes were named), but was again dissappointed that hubby said the beefs were tasteless. Probably is because that his set is expensive (I forgot what name but it is RM60), thus the beef became tasteless for him, hahaha!

I ordered this set (RM40 which contains sushi roll with Unagi, clear mushroom soup cooking on Washi paper, salad, cawan mushi and tiny slices of appertiser and fruits). For me, I feel it is pretty expensive.
QQ only had 2 sushi rolls since she love Unagi a lot. But there are lots of small bones, hubby has to pick them out until there is not much left for QQ.

Although the place is classy, it isn’t a good place for us to go as my boys were screaming (Kakak had to carry the crying and cranky korkor in and out of the restaurant) and almost run down the place. Poor diners who were there on that evening as they cannot have a peaceful dinner. Luckily Didi is willing to sit down towards the end of our dinner, munching the cucumbers from our salad and took some porridge with my cawanmushi.
Boy, what a tiring and stress dining for all of us. Although I have been wanting to go to the Japanese Buffet at Umai-ya, I don’t think the boys can wait for our re-order food to arrive at our table.

Unless the restaurant has something to entertain my very very active boys like the above, otherwise there will be no way both hubby and I can dine in peace. Sigh….

poor you. with young kids, i think we can only eat at fast food restaurants where everything is fast, fast, fast..heheheeheh
Tried buffet at Jogoya (starhill)? Awesome! With the kids around, I’ve also missed those buffet meals….. cannot eat in peace!
The boys are not interested to eat your food? My Hao will say “mom mom” non-stop - so I ended up like you - no much chance to eat as busy serving the boy. Hahahaha!
the kobe beef we had in Japan is around RM100 for 150g…LOL
btw, the set you had very expensive ….
I don’t even attempt to go to fancy places with the kids. Asking for trouble ha ha. Btw kobe & wagyu beef over-rated lah….
We’re in the same boat! I havent had a nice quiet dinner in ages. Unless if we plan a date just hubby and me..but for sure after that I’ll feel restless and wonder if the kids are okay..aihhhh mothers, mothers..
