Follow up on Root Canal Treatment
Remember QQ and her scary experience of Root Canal Treatment 2 weeks ago? Yesterday she had to go back to remove the temporary filling and have it replace with permanent filling. Her appointment was actually scheduled a week earlier (before the temporary filling cracks and had bacteria entering that area again). But as she was coughing, we delayed a week later.
We actually visited the dentist 2 days ago together with me while I had scaling done to my aging yellow teeth (if only I can afford the Plano porcelain veneers treatment), she freaks out and cried non-stop while seated on the chair. So nothing can be done and it has to reschedule again as soon as possible as cracks had shown on her temporary filling.
Yesterday again, there was another bad struggle, but luckily everything was done within 30minutes. I really hope she does not have to go back to the dentist for at least a year as it is so mentally tiring for me to coax this 5yr-old girl of mine to coorperate with us.
I’m afraid of dentist too! never wish to visit one at all! Hope QQ is feeling better now.

I guess no one is has the favour to see dentist. Unless they have tooth problem. I hate to see dentist too…
Which dentist you took her to? I’m planning to do my check up soon.

I had my fair share of cyring in the dentist chair when I was a kid too! I even used to start crying at home and then refuse to get in the car
I supposed dentist and kids are never a good combination!
Poor girl. Some dentists would put the child to sleep in order to get the work done faster and easier.

There is this Dr Chan (Chan Dental) in Taman Midah - the male doctor. These recent 2-3 months, we went there 3 times already. All for my girl. First 2 times, to pull out front teeth - permanent ones coming out. 3rd time, for tampal and canal treatment. He handled very very well. My girl did not cry at all, no fear, no pain, my girl wanted to go again. But his appointment very very full… queue till next year already. Sometimes when there is a cancelation of appointment, the nurse will call us if we would like to go earlier. I have also booked an appointment for myself in Jan 2010.
Forgot to add, for kids, can walk-in. Must request for Dr Chan.
