“We kissed on mouth”
I wonder if Mamas out there are hiding the kissing scene on TV away from their toddler. Not wanting to make a hoo-hah about couples kissing, QQ has been exposed to movies with common kissing scene like Mama Mia. Well, she loves the musical show, and as for me, why not?
One fine day she came telling me, ” Ma, I kissed Korkor on mouth, then Korkor also kissed me back on mouth” *turning away shyly*
I was really stunt! I do not know what to say, just can’t help but to laugh. I told hubby and he told me to leave her alone. Obviously she loves her brothers that much and wanted to show her affection to them. But I guess she is still too young to understand the difference between couple and sibling’s love.
Wonder if the similar incident happens to your children. Do let me know how you normally react to something like this at home.

I dun think she meant much by that sentence… my boys kiss their mei mei all the time on the lips. It’s affection and also passing germs to baby Jolie LOL… that’s what I think when I see them kiss

do u kiss your kids on the mouth or to your hubby in front of the kids on the mouth (jst a peck la and not the affectionate one)? coz i do this and so far the girl havent asked me such things yet. she also kisses her mei-mei on the mouth. she has seen movies with passionate kisses too but i will usually distract her if it’s an adult show or change the channel. :Dthose on disney channels, i just let her watch.
she has yet to ask me where baby comes from, not looking forward to that day.
hehehe…she’s cute. why was she so shy about it? maybe you could tell her it’s ok to kiss your brothers on the lips?
We kiss each other on the mouth.. so they are used to it..
But when there’s sex scene or long french kissing on a movie, I’ll cover their eyes.
Hahaha… QiQi is so cute. My Lynn will not even ask. She will just kiss us or hubby or her didi on mouth. But I don’t think she’s doing it now as I usually kiss on her cheek. So now she asks for kisses on her cheek.
we kiss each other on the lips too; it is called butterfly kisses, just a peck on the lips; no french kiss.
Hubby always kissing me in front of the kids..and, now, Jona just so love to kiss Isaac either on his mouth or cheeks, and also will keep telling me that he love Isaac……I guess it is just the way the kid tell us that they love one another…
Reading all the comments above, I must admit that I’m very old-fashioned when it comes to this. I don’t particularly endorse anyone (including myself) kissing the boys on the lips. I find it a bit “wat tat” (sorry!). Bryan did that to Brandon once. I didn’t over-react but gently told him that it may cause di di to fall sick due to the germs

Amsyar & Izzo, because they’re bigger now, would automatically look elsewhere when there’s a kissing scene on TV! Malu lah tu. And sometimes I’ll go “okaayyy jgn tengok jgn tengok..ok ok dah boleh tengok” if there’s suddenly a loong kissing scene..!
The boyz kiss Zuleyka on her mouth all the time…but the day will come when they do understand..aiyah that reminds me one day we have to story about the birds and the bees to them LOL!
We lip-kiss Shern too. I guess that’s not a big deal, but of course when he lip-kiss with his cousin brother, I freaked out on him telling him not to do that with boys. Then came a million question of why why why? I told him it’s not right and he’s not supposed to kiss a boy. With mommy and daddy, it’s OK pulak. Must be quite confusing for him. Hahah..
I once peck my boy on his lip and it became a habit. He kiss me back on the lip too. Then, MIL asked “Eh, why allow him to do that? Its so dirty”. Not knowing I’m the one who started this first. Hehehe…….So now I told him to kiss on the cheek instead. He will also kiss his baby sister on the cheek.

hmm, both my kids always kiss me on mouth, but seems they never did it to each other.
