Birthday play at the park?
Since we planned to celebrate the boys birthday in Melaka and Kuantan with our immediate family, I do not plan to do it anymore here since there is too much for me to do. Even if it is going to be done in KL, hmm….who should I invite? To invite some and not inviting the rest would not be nice.
While lying on bed, another idea came to me yesterday night.
Instead of preparing a usual birthday party, maybe I could think of a way it would be fun to celebrate it the simple way, maybe a fun play at the park? Be it a park near my house, or a fun morning at TTDI park? This way I can open invitation just to anyone who wish to come without the need of getting headcount or prepare anything in advance.
Idea? Idea?

sounds like a great idea!:) have a picnic maybe ?
i like the idea. bring bubbles, bring pets, and bring own food. you provide the birthday cake.
Great… pot luck birthday party
I’ll come with jellies and the camera
great great party! back to nature
i wanted to do samuel’s party at a playground as well but hubby doesnt reli like the idea bcoz of the unpredictable weather….
i like the park anytime because of its greenary n natural surroundings. only disadvantage is the mosquitoes..
Chin Nee, you are really creative lar
.
yea, yeah..do it at the park. TTDI is nice with little stream.. and potluck party
how about the foods? how to prepare them in advance if you’re not sure how many people will come?
Er, don’t you need to prepare party favors? Hehe..a park bday party is a great idea. Ppl over here likes to do that.
Err…potluck party? Would that be appropriate since it is my sons birthday?
Or perhaps anyone wanna volunteer to help me with preparing just sandwiches, and morning beverage? preparing is easy but to carry the heavy things and walk a distance into the park, wouldn’t that be a problem?
Any suggest any good park with shades (minus mosquitoes) ?
wah .. I think the park party is great!!!
Oh park bday party it sound awesome. It would be nice to some face drawing, hand tattoo for the kids too.
Hi Chinneeq,
I’ve been following your blog for some times. Believe it or not, you are the one who inspired me to start my own blog. You blog on your children so beautifully and this made me wanted to do the same. Please feel free to drop by even it is a new blog. Not much of posts yet. I felt great after expressing my thoughts into words! Thank you
I did my daughter’s party at the TTDI park too. But I knew how many were coming and was easy to prepare the food.. but if you don’t and a way to have as many pple to come. Just potluck lah.. Everyone bring their own food. Maybe have some games and presents… bring a cake and you have a PARTY!!
Some pics of the party for some ideas?

Bring own foods and meet in the park……food is not big issue mah…the most important thing, we can celebrate your kids birthday ~ so, the kids get enjoy playing around and eating the cake!!! Waahaaa, sure a lot of kids will cry, cause can’t let everyone blow the candles (which are kids favorite)
Agree … Since the main purpose of the party is to make the birthday kids and other kids happy, park is the best place where they can run and shout as much as they want
Food is really not a problem…. Maybe can suggest them to bring food rather than presents? Just a suggestion
i agreed… pot luck (at park) is much easier…
look like it will be mummies gathering rather than birthday celebration, haha…
Birthday at the park sounds like a great idea Chin Nee and better go for the pot-luck thingy - easier
party & gathering at the park = GREAT idea ….. i raise my hands in support!!!
if everyone who comes bring along some food, then it shd be sufficient !!!
TTDI (the one with playground) sounds great !!!
fai tit go plan lar….
I think the kids will love it! To them, playing is more fun than the food…
