Kept away twin stroller

Almost long forgotten my twin stroller, thanks to Roseaida who drops by and leave me a note. From my past posting, ESPIRIT of MacLaren, we finally got MacLaren twin stroller for the boys. No more spending on the New York Yankees tickets for hubby. In the beginning of our outings, we always bring the stroller along. However QQ was the one always sitting in it while the BUmbo Boys refuse to sit for long. My maid and I always ended slinging the boys instead. Now we do not even bother to load the heavy stroller into our car anymore.

My views about twin stroller (Maclaren)

  • Very heavy. I always let hubby carry it.
  • It is very easy to move around. Easy to open too.
  • Will not tumble easily as it is sooo heavy. Sturdy stroller.
  • Wide but still can go on escalator (silly us. We have been using lift and hubby only realized this on the last time we used it!)

I hope the boys will soon learn to sit in the stroller (side by side). But one bad thing about putting them into twin stroller, we always ended up creating unnecessary attention from the public. Aunties just could not resists looking :)

  1. Don’t forget to put a sign on the stroller, .

  2. the young ones needs to be train to sit in the stroller. just like what mummy did to both the boys. shan leo has no problem at all coz mummy will always make it a habit to put shan leo in the stroller (& car seat) whenever we go out. no one is allowed to carry him!! and for shan rae, it took mummy much more time to train him. we tot probably its becoz shan rae was breast-feed… anyway, shan rae has improved a lot nowadays. less resistance!! and somehow, shan rae will happily sit in the stroller when mummy brings him to the park.

we are also using a maclaren stroller, and we love it to the bits! its light (abt 4kg i think), and u can open/close with 1 hand *hehe*

  3. haha in fact without the twin stroller your cute chubby boys also will creating unnecessary attention from the public ;)

  4. Hahaha…. not only u. I also hardly take out my stroller for use. We always just carry the boy around. That’s y I get a sling. :)

  5. Not only aunties would stare, I would stare too, seeing 2 cute twin boys on a stroller.

  6. Stroller or not, they’ll definitely get attention wherever they go. ;)

  7. heheh…i think I will be one of those ‘aunties’ if ever I bump into you all :-D

  8. Haiyo! You bumbo boys so cute, how not to stare la??!!

  9. hope d twin stroller will be put to good usage….but if d boys r also being carried with sling, am sure they will prefer this than d stroller & put up resistance!! yes, absolutely agree that u won’t have peace using d twin stroller….LOL

  10. yayayay. not only auntie will stare.. I will too.. :P

  11. if u ever thinking of selling ur twin bambu chair (did i get the name right?) please let me know!!! i thinking to get those for my twins…

  12. hi hi. it has been 10mths since i bought the Maclaren twin rally. second-hand one is good enough. actually i was pretty fickle about getting 2nd hand pram coz i always like to get brand brand new ones.

but after calling up kiddy stores in SG, none is selling Maclaren Twin Rally. It is the smallest n lightest twin range out of the new Maclaren Twin ranges. and the prices difference between old n new was SGD 300. boleh pengsan!

so yes. I ended up with 2nd handed one. Very useful for sending the son to school. now since both are a bit older and heavier, i make them walk instead. only use the pram when hubby is around to do the pushing.

and despite sitting next to each other, my son and daughter do still fight with who sit where. hmph…

and yes…real attention seeker. every strangers (who loves children) think i am having twin. lol.
