7 months of menses free
Having menses has been one of my greatest sorrow of being a woman. Probably because I grow up having to ensure period pain each month (including all the mess, you know what I mean). So the only moment to enjoy menses free is of course during my 2 pregnancy (yeah, too bad only two) and during when I breastfeed my twin boys seven months ago.
Although QQ was breastfed exclusively in her first 6 months, my menses returned the moment QQ celebrated her fullmoon. Thus, I did not have the chance to enjoy menses free period like other breastfeeding mummies.
Finally I got to enjoy it this time while breastfeeding the twin boys. I guess it came back so soon because the boys are now sucking less. The boys are now on homecooked porridge twice a day. Will post what I cook for them soon.
wah… I’m considered lucky then. I got mine two months after i stopped bfeeding. all three times.
funny tht u blogged abt this…i was wondering whn mine will come back too…with my 1st, it was after 9 months so i’m curious for my second time round.
weird that u got ur menses so soon during qq’s time. always thought it would take around 2-3 months at least even if breastfeeding.
I was menses free for 12 months with WH and now my good friend still have not visited and my JL is already 15 months. Yoohoo..is like more than 2 years no menses liao.
My menses return when WH was 12 months old. Can’t remember for the first time as I only breastfeed for 3 months. My good friend still has not return and JL is already 15 months old and suckle less too. Now it’s like more than 2 years I have not got my menses already. (No chance to try mamapad yet. :P)
Hmm..I got mine very early even during breastfeeding. Why ah? I also don’t know what is the reason. Not very lucky maybe.
Yeah… I like the menses-free period after pregnancy too. But luckily my period pain improved a lot after the 1st preg.

Hehe…I guess many of us enjoy the menses free period. My menses only returned 2-3 months after I stopped bf YY.
