Potty Training @ 6m2w old

I have been complaining so much about my kids…if they read this blog in future, they will surely think what a bad mother I am.

Actually sometimes I really think there are areas that they deserve to be praised. For instant, I recently started potty training (kiasu hor, baru 6 months wanna start potty train liao) with the boys in order (so that maid do not have to wash, actually machine wash, so many nappies daily.

Progress with Di-di
I am surprise how well he receive the idea of what to do when being sitted in his RED potty. Although he is still wearing cloth nappy, every 30mins we will take it off and put him to the potty. This smart little boy actually aware and knows how to “kekk” (can see his little ‘pea’ kembang, oppss, *a bit obscene my description*, and then shooting out his urine even though just a drop sometimes). As if he knows……*clap clap*

Progress with Kor-kor

Kor-kor is the one who flip over first. But when comes to potty training, he still very blur what is going on. When being put to the potty, he did not give any response. We tried so many times, and most of the time, he is the one ended up with a wet nappy. Unless he really could not control his bladder anymore (or coincident), he will pee in his potty.

Crazy parenting

It is really amazing to see the grow of the twins, from their birth until now. Although I may be mad sometimes most of the time, I still enjoy staying at home, watching my kids grow (although no money to splash, and at times have to be thrifty, calculating every single sen like mad). I am grateful that until today, we still survive with only one man salary (poor hubby has to feed so many mouths at home). I think I better get some cattle supplies and start a farm on the empty land near my house so my children can grow up running wild to play and occupied themselves. *wink*

How I de-stress

Yes, Slavemum, you are right. Baking and cooking is a great way for me to de-stress. I really enjoy doing the chores (a way I could hide myself from the madness). Sometimes I would just lock myself in the wet kitchen to do the cooking instead of letting my maid do it. I cannot deny how helpful when a maid is here especially when she tries to entertain the cranky babies, no matter how lousy she may be at times.

  12. I always believe that potty training shldn’t be something stressful (for both the parent/guardian n child). When the child is ready, it’ll be a real breeze.
Btw, ur way of destressing is really good!

  13. I wish I can be so patient like you. I am also a stay-at-home mom with a one-income earner in the family. Just taking care of my 3+ yr old & 7 mths old, couple with daily household chores & all the fetching to & fro from nursery is already stressing me out. Salute you, woman :-)
