Gluten free baby cereal

Although the boys are now moving into their 7th month, I have yet to start “double-boil” (hehe…so ambitious..) their porridge. Will only do so once we settle down from travelling after the CNY.
It is so difficult to find organic baby cereal these days. Yesterday while hunting for one in 1U (where I bought the Holle Organic Semolina Porridge), I am so surprise that the only organic shop in I Utama had been closed down! There is another new organic shop (near to Cold Storage). However they do not sell any baby cereal.
Luckily I manage to get this above baby cereal from one organic shop in Sg.Long (near to 100yen shop but they sell only this brand). Made in France, it cost RM22.90 per tin (even more expensive than those coming from USA). This quinoa cereal is also free from milk, sucrose and gluten.
According to the shop owner, tin type is much better than the box cereal as it is much more cleaner (such as the Healthy Times Premium where those cereal were placed directly in the paper box, available in Carefour).
After trying 3 types of different cereal, finally I found Di-di’s favourite, but Kor-kor still prefer the Healthy Times Premium Organic Baby Cereal.
So far, I have added:
- plain water (for their first feeding)
- scrap banana (the twins favourite)
- apple (I think I should steam them next time)
- milk powder (usually in the morning or when I run out of things to add)

I saw that tin but costly which is out of my budget..so decided to DIY..cheaper…
Wow.. this is rather expensive… out of my budget also. So I have decided to go back to Nestle baby cereal, but add with breast milk, rusk biscuit and brown rice powder.
i am giving jayden the brown rice cereal from nestle now… didnt think of giving him the organic ones. I might try the organic baby oats once this is finished though!
I add his formula into it… he likes it. Now I mix in carrot puree as he likes it too.
My child is allergy to foods contain gluten and another food ingredients. I think the cereal could be the choice for her. Thanks for sharing
im always on a Gluten Free diet. i really hate my allergy to gluten because i love the taste of wheat bread. oh well, you just got to live with it.
Good that you have found one. For me, I could not find any. I spent whole day and yet, no result.
