I am so tied up with the boys recently as they refuse to be left alone. As day passed, they get wiser (meaning naughtier too) and both want to be carried at all time (often look at me, wanting me, ONLY ME to carry them all time!)
“Cheeky face” Di-di at 5m 2wks
Weight: 6.6kg
They just had their 5th month 6-in-1 jab and 2nd dose of Rotavirus few days ago. Di-di did not gained much weight and surprisingly Kor-kor even lost weight this month*starting to worry now*. Not sure if my milk is no longer enough for them (can’t help feeling very low confidence about my milk supply as they cry so frequently) or it was because they were sick for quite a period. My paed even said that breastfed babies tend to gain weight slower than formula fed babies. True ah? *scratch head* But if true how come Chanel’s beautiful Ariel could gain such a good weight with only breastmilk but mine sampai loose weight?
Since they are crying so frequently (dono naughty or hungry…sigh), I plan try to introduce some solid this week to see if there is any improvement to their behaviour.

dont worry so much abt their weight, my paed always tells me, if they still pass urine and normal bowels, not to worry, they are doing fine…
bf is very tricky, cos u never know how much they take, and sometimes when they suck for comfort, they are also feeding…
anyway gd luck in introducing solids to them

Your boys weigh more than my Zuleyka when she was 5 mths old (she was only 6.52 then)..but she still has chubby legs, bum bum and arms (maybe she a bit short..?), but her body is not the wide/broad type. She bf 90% of the time.
Like kristie said, bf can be tricky..my sister only bf her 2 boys (they all have allergy, ezcema..) but her no. 2 is already 7.9kg..baru 3 mths old! He looks like a rugby player if put next to Zuleyka haa haa..
I started to feed my boys those instant porridge meant for 4 mths once they reached the age. Perhaps you want to give it a try!! The love it !!

For me, my No.3 also didn’t put on much weight (can’t remember what happened to No.1 and No.2 - ha ha..bad mama!). Once started solids..wah! Eat like no tomorrow..put on quite a bit.
So..don’t worry la. As long as poo-ing and wee-ing..they’re ok.
For me, becoz I don’t have alot of time to spare…No.3 is so fed up with scolding me..and will play by himself la. I think if you can just let them cry abit…you see if they can amuse themselves or not la. HA HA..again, me- bad mama!
Your twins so cute, yr sons just above 2 wks older than my dotta… but no worry, as long as they still active, willing to drink milks … will be fine…

Yalah…kor kor looks so kuai and didi so cheeky!!! Don’t get too hung up over the weight lah…as long as they are behaving normally…active and not lethargic/sleepy. Of course yoru bf is good for them. I admire you for being so persistence in your bfeeding. Not like me,so lazy kekekke. Happy 5 months Bumbo boys!
The boys definately look healthy & growing well … and cheeky too!
as they grow up to certain stage, they might loose weight or stop gaining any meat rapidly. juz dun worry if they still can eat, sleep & play normal! i think the worst one is when they start walking… my gals stop gaining weight dat time!

d boys look like u!!! well, shan rae has not been putting on weight the last 3 months…and he is also not very interested in his solids…sigh…hopefully, he will start to love his solids soon!!!
maybe your milk have to share for 2…but ho, Ariel really chubby le, even when i bf eli exclusively i also didn’t see him as chubby as Ariel

Everytime, I dropped by your blog, I just can’t help admiring your twins. They are just so cute! But then again, having only one Ryan is already a hands full. I can’t even imagine having two at the same time. So, I really salute you. Better not let my wife see your blog. Otherwise, she would want a pair too….die lor….
