My very first engorgement (in the 5th month!)
Yesterday shopping at Ikea
For the first time, I experience frequent engorgement 2 days back (now the boys are already getting into their 5th month!). Unfortunately this is not a good news. Not that I have oversupply of milk now, but the boys were so sick that they hardly want to latch on. They rather sleep most of the time since they were feeling so drowsy after taking so much medication. So I had to keep on waking them up and latch them to me.

Love the way they look while I seated them at the promotional items corner while breastfeeding them.
Actually I was quite amuse over the engorgement since I hardly experience one after my birth. Ever since I gave birth to them, I was as dry as seaweed even though I was in my confinement month. I am glad that although starting quite late, I still manage to feed them both only with breast milk, only from the second month onwards. Can’t wait to start them on solid, another month to go!

Eeeyyyeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr they are so darn cute lah. But I can see that their faces have changed once again. No wonder there is a saying that babies change faces a hundred times!

as for introducing the bottle….you can always start by introducing the pacifier and then transition to the bottle…thats what i did with my older son when i had to go back to work.

engorgement can be so uncomforable isnt it? instead of letting it subside,maybe u want to express them to keep for storage instead.

Well you can start to pump out for storage. Less latch on and pumping will decrease the milk supply. You can add bm in their solid when they start next month.
