Sleeping with Kakak for a night
It has been the 3rd day. Baby Then’s fever is under control and he looks better too. But there is still blood in his mucus which I am worry about. Have not seen a little babies who has mucus as bad as this.
I am grateful that at least my hubby is around. He is supposed to attend a training oversea, but somehow, he did not have to. After one sleepless night for both of us (where we have to take turns carrying him to sleep), we left Baby Then sleep in the warmer living room on the 2nd night, accompany by Kakak. At least he could sleep better in the “sarong”. I had better sleep too, although I have to run up and down to feed both of them.
Oh yes, this fella is very naughty. He screams and spits out all the medication although I squirt it very slowly into the side of his mouth. Any good tip to help me feed this naughty little baby?
Gently pinch his nose to force her swallow it…. mix in the milk…. singing song & play vcd to discard his attention… Hopefully he get well soon.
I used to coat my pinky with the medicine and let the baby slowly lick/suck from it
mixing into milk is a good idea, but they are drinking directly from me.

Try to squirt it further inside the mouth, so that he has lesser chance to spit it out. Hope he get well soon and require no medication.

Just use more meds. Since he’ll spit out alot…at least u know he took some.
But.. as long as his fever subsides..BM is good enough. But now, with ur rashes..I hope both of u r ok!!! Take care!
Maybe, you can let him take the medicine before milk feeding…after medicine, immediate pop your teat to him….
