Shopping with de boys again!

During the weekends, we brought the boys out again. Car trip is not that good as the boys still refuse to sit in the car seat. But in shopping malls, they were asleep most of the time so we can walk whenever we want, eat whatever we want.

This time we went further, to 1U. As usual, the more difficult one was QQ. She wanted to sit in the car so we rented one for her. I want to dine out, so…what shall we eat this time? Italian recipes or the Japanese?

I miss Pasta Zanmai’s salad so we went there again and I am so glad I managed to buy their salad sauce this time! (will post it later)

Btw, I was wondering if other bosses out there order a set of meal for their maid as well when having Japanese food? Can be very expensive to have maid hor if they eat everything same as us.

Well, I just let my maid taste the miso soup and she thinks it taste weird. So we just got her a beef burger from Burger King instead!

  1. Wah ….. u really great mummy can bring 3 kids go shopping together !!!

  2. usually we will just order a plate of fried rice for d maid where ever we go…… set meal, no need la… not that she knows how to appreciate it !! for u, u will need d maid tagging along where ever u go at least for d next 2 years….
so it’s wise to save this way !! milky mom ehh…….hahaha

  3. looks like your getting braver eh…anyway, as the babies grow older, it’s easier to take them out. you still need to train them with the car seat so it’s good that u take them out often. my girl still cry at her car seat after a year old too and she was trained from day 1! most of the time, i’m alone with her so she had to just learn the hard way and my poor ears will have to tolerate the cries!

as for taking the maid out, i too tend to agree with you that it can be expensive bringing them out in terms of food which is why i leave my maid home most of the time. but for u would be tough coz u got 3 kids to care for. so like wht jacss suggested, jst go for the basic fried rice/noodles or like wht u did, a burger or something jst to save cost. if ur maid happened to be like mine and eat nearly everything, then u can order lor but i know some maids don’t.

  4. Yes, usually if the maid follow me out, they will eat whatever we eat.
That why I seldom bring her out. ehhehehehe

    Wow….another advancement..went further to 1U….
Hope u enjoyed shopping while the 2 boys slept.

  5. haha she cannot take a nice dish. Previously we went TGI Friday with my friend and he order a stir for his maid, quite expensive leh RM30++. His maid so “homia”.

  6. must be good to shop around eh? i was there at 1u too but on saturday. did u go on saturday?

hey, you should ask shireen about ordering food for her maid. her family eats out a lot :D

  7. Wow, better shop while you can, before your twins start learn to walk…..btw, which twin you carry more frequent when shopping? I saw your maid is always carry one of them….

For my sis, she order same food for her maid lor when they eat together…….and to cut cost, she went cheap restaurant….ha,ha…or, even share 1 plate of food with hubby and order 1 set for her maid when she eat with me and my family…..really understood your dilemma lor…

If give cheap food for maid, people might say some nasty thing….

  8. We seldom go for sushi but we frequent Madam Kwan when we were in KL.. I love love love their nasi lemak. And my helper.. yes.. she gets to eat thier Nasi Goreng/Chicken Rice too. In SG, we seldom eat set meal. Normally order dishes, so again , my helper gets to eat what we eat. I do feel she dem ‘hor mia’. :@

  9. for us, if we go to chinese restaurant, will order fried rice for her first to eat…then she jaga jarod. but if we go for western food or japanese, then she will share the set with my daughter…;)

  10. oh goodie.. another outing with the boys :-) the twin that you are carrying is so cosy snuggling to you… awwww…

  11. Wah.. i’m so jealous with you. Hehe… already asking hubby last weekend when can we go shopping. I need to get a new pair of shoe for the girl as she almost out grown the current pair.

Btw, i’m wondering since we need to drink a lot of fluid for bf, do u really take along lots of water with u when u go out? Or u just buy the drinking water from outside? This is my only dilemma coz i really need to drink a lot to maintain the supply. Else I have to feed probably every hour and I dont want to be like at the end most of the time is spent on sitting down to nurse the baby (my boy is the type eating slow one, especially outside got so much new things to see for him).

  12. wah… u very geng.. can being 3 kiddos out at one time .. teach me how … me ONE also very tired and sometime very kek hei … :(

  13. I think b4 the boys start walking, better go shopping kau kau. At least they sleep most of the time in the sling now.
As for the maid, she eats watever we eat. But if we go for buffet, then order ala-carte for her.

  14. so nice shopping with ur 3 kids. and much more nicer a maid to tag along to help! hehe…

about ordering food, my IL’s maid gets to eat watever we eat in family dinner in fancy restaurant. so veri the good life loh. no need order set lah, just order a meal by itself veri good oredi :)

  15. wah so nice ha u bring them kai kai n have jap food summore hehe… we used to ask our maid wat she wanna eat… we even bring maid for buffet but tis maid all she wans is vege… so anything to do wif vege is fine wif her… sometimes very mafan lo not easy to look for rice + vege leh… my temp maid even worst…. everything dun wanna eat.. reli headache … so usually go out we eat n she sit there onli….
