How do you nurse in public?
I remember when I first brought QQ out to public for the first time, I had trouble locating the nursing room or had the trouble of walking to the end of the mall each time I need to nurse her. Eventually I got lazy and just sit down on anywhere just to nurse her, of course cover myself la…..
So now with the sling it is even more convenient. We just sling the babies, pack and go without having the trouble to open and close, carry in and out the stroller. So whenever the baby is hungry, well, I just sit in the public, open up and feed!
See how convenient by having a milking mummy? I hope that I can bf them as long as possible :p
i usually nursed in the nursing room provided by jusco or in the car
I still rmember my hub’s reaction when I first took my twins out to public and breastfed them at Jusco shopping mall. We were at the food court and the baby room was too far downstairs. So I decided to sit on a chair nearby and began to open upmy Tshirt and breastfed onw twin while the other was in the stroller. He goes” Huh? breastfeed here ah..then I can see his eyes looking around look at me then look around as if I’m naked or doing something obscene in public. 2 yrs down the road when I wanted to stop BF, he asked “Huh wanna stop liaw? Continue lah since we can save so much milk powder expenses.” My eyes rolling!!!!!!!
i can nurse anywhere, in the mall, restaurant, car etc provided there is a place to sit.
So I like to wear loose t-shirt when I go out with baby so easy breastfeeding.
Nursing in the public has become common and most people will not stare at you or give you strange look. Moreover big part of the baby body has already blocked their view. I don’t usually go nursing room as you have to search where it is located and take a long walk to it. I will only go nursing room for diaper change.
find a place to sit down and start nursing, but I prefer a quiet or corner place …

Hahha…I also nursed my kids everywhere we go, of course with a sling lar. So convenient to bf discreetly using the sling. I still remember I used to go to the Ikano baby room to bf :).
Hehe…I’ve never nursed in public. In the car with friends got la but always went to the nursing room in malls. Guess the sling is definitely a good tool to have for someone who is bf.
i did it with a sling.
if i forgot the sling, then i will go to those baby rooms or toilet (with rest area)..

Just kidding. I nurse with a sling as well. Even with nursing top, I cover with a sling
I saw a mom uses a blanket to cover, a pretty need trick. By the way, make sure you choose an area with ceiling, if u get what I mean.
i seldom nurse in public. bought 1 nursing top & 3 nursin bras. make it easier to nurse. jus put a blankie over my shoulder n i sat in the restaurant casually.. dun look paisey :p
other times, mostly in the car, use blankie to cover over my shoulder.
i hardly nurse in public, i just made Eli a bottle of formula milk when the feeding time came or i would feed him in the nursing room if i were lucky to find one.
I will try to find room, if nope, then depends if car is parked nearby..
if not, thick skin in public using sling n nursing tshirt…
last week, went to my friend’s house for gathering, i nurse in the living room using sling n was wearing nursing t-shirt…
i’ve never nursed in public before. i always go looking for a nursing room. by now, i know where are all the nursing rooms that i’ll plan my route around there when nursing time comes.
i should try nursing in public. saves time!
i usually use nursing room. but i discovered that u can use the nursing wrap, very convenient hehe
I normally bring a shawl with me and I also nurse my baby every where. So convenient!
BTW, you really need to teach me how to use the sling, can?
I always bf with a nursing bib, cant master using sling. seldom use those nursing rm, find not so convenient. just get a chair or bench
