My Miracle Babies
Initially when we found out I was carrying twin, we were panic on how to handle twin babies. Since we do not have any twin from the family, everything with them is like a trial and error. I remembered I even worried that I will not be able to recognise or differentiate WHO is WHO.
At first we were not able to recognise them when we brought them back from the hospital. But now, with just a glance, my hubby, me and even our maid can easily tell who is who now.
Even nen-nen style is different!
Whenever I tell Baby Zhen (Twin 1) it is nen-nen time, he would be very happily wriggling all his limbs, waiting for me to reveal his meal. During nursing, he will look into my eyes, smiling and giggling as if telling me he is happy.
On the other hand, Baby Then (Twin 2) pulak act very cool, just smiling at me while waiting for his meal. During nursing, he prefer to look away, play with his own hand, as if enjoying himself with his own thought.
With the way I am feeding them now, I think I can slim down very soon without having to source for cheap diet pills.
I am really amazed at how similar the twins can be, and yet very different with their own characters!
With the above photo, do you still see double? Are you able to spot difference?

This little trouble maker can really makes me heart attack sometimes. Sometimes when I am not looking, she will do all kinds of actions to show her affection. Sometimes, she rubs them on head, bring something sharp near to them, and even tried to massage the babies by pulling their ears, pulling their hands to the wrong direction, poking her sharp fingers on their soft skull!
Since she is not afraid of the maid, the maid cannot do anything except come to complain to me. I wonder if I should give my maid some “authority” to handle QQ at times? If I do so, I am worried if she misuse the “authority” one day…
Luckily I have another useful babysitter, which is our dearest new TV. They really get entertained when I leave the TV on. Must ask hubby to check out on the tv lifts so that our TV can be placed higher and further from the boys.

With the current incident of contaminated milk in China, I guess many pregnant mums lagi wanna die-die wanna breastfeed their babies like I do. Thanks to my boh-kam-wan attitude, the twins are now solely on bm, but of course after putting in lots of effort.
For people who are not blessed with good milk supply like me, these are some tips I tried to increase bm:
- Drink lots of fluid (milo, milk, etc) but it did not work for me
- Drink green papaya soup and all sorts of soup again sadly it did not work for me
- Find medical help from breastfeeding consultant it helps when i was prescribed with Domperidone pills
- Take the above fenugreek tablets, can get from GNC @RM62.90/bottle Engorgement starts when I started this 2 days ago!
- Or buy raw 50sen fenugreek seeds from the kedai runcit took this last time with QQ but now, hubby said worth paying GNC for the USA imported tables for his twin boys!
* Even though I manage to exclusively feeding the boys now, still do not experience dripping or wetting my shirt until today :(* (but at least after delivery, my face is clear of acne
After the recall of the milk powder, I wonder what mummies in China now are feeding their children with now. My friend said demands for hiring “Nai Ma” (Lactating Mother who has just gave birth) to breastfeed their babies even increase tremendously, just like how we engage maids here. How nice if I can engage one also for my boys when my supply was low!

De twin @ 2 months 3 weeks
Poor QQ, I think my camera only fills with de twin photos nowadays. But I just could not stop taking photos for them……
Although both boys are fully on breastmilk now, they still cry a lot. They also refuse bottle now (although my maid is the one feeding them) so there is no way I can give them formula. Instead they keep on suckling on me until I feel so exhausted. With the tiredness, I can even burn my weight without having to use the Stacker diet pills.
I really wonder if it is their nature to cry so much or I am not having enough milk to feed them? Sometimes I really feel like giving up breastfeeding, but…they obviously still grow on weight. So what else could be wrong?
I still prefer feeding them only breastmilk is 100% safe as I do not need to worry about the maid’s hygiene or accidentally buying contaminated milk.
Pening betul these 2 boys with 2 swirls!!!!

During the weekends, we brought the boys out again. Car trip is not that good as the boys still refuse to sit in the car seat. But in shopping malls, they were asleep most of the time so we can walk whenever we want, eat whatever we want.
This time we went further, to 1U. As usual, the more difficult one was QQ. She wanted to sit in the car so we rented one for her. I want to dine out, so…what shall we eat this time? Italian recipes or the Japanese?
I miss Pasta Zanmai’s salad so we went there again and I am so glad I managed to buy their salad sauce this time! (will post it later)
Btw, I was wondering if other bosses out there order a set of meal for their maid as well when having Japanese food? Can be very expensive to have maid hor if they eat everything same as us.
Well, I just let my maid taste the miso soup and she thinks it taste weird. So we just got her a beef burger from Burger King instead!

I remember when I first brought QQ out to public for the first time, I had trouble locating the nursing room or had the trouble of walking to the end of the mall each time I need to nurse her. Eventually I got lazy and just sit down on anywhere just to nurse her, of course cover myself la…..
So now with the sling it is even more convenient. We just sling the babies, pack and go without having the trouble to open and close, carry in and out the stroller. So whenever the baby is hungry, well, I just sit in the public, open up and feed!
See how convenient by having a milking mummy? I hope that I can bf them as long as possible :p

As expected, the virus that attacked QQ now goes to my poor boy, Twin 2. First it is my girl to vomit and have diarrhoea, followed by high fever. Then poor mummy gets it (only fever and mild diarrhoea), and now my youngest boy gets it. Although he is just only having mild fever, he gets really cranky. Baby Then now refuse bottle altogether, so he only have to rely on my limited bm.
Although they hardly drink any formula, I still give them some plain water, although not recomended by pead. I am worried they will dehydrated if they do not get enough milk from me. Wonder if other mummy who exclusively breastfeed their baby feeding plain water too?

De twin @ 10 weeks
Last Saturday we brought the boys out to shopping for the first time. It was QQ’s eyes appointment at ISEC and I really had great disappointment with this girl. After waiting for quite long (despite having appointment time),she suddenly went berserk right just before her name was being called. Knowing she would be uncontrollable, her father brought her to Mid Valley to buy KFC.

Enjoy herself on the twin stroller
Just imagine me, and the boys have to keep on waiting outside the clinic until she comes back. By then, the clinic is almost closed…GGRRRRRRR…………I WAS SO GERAM that I almost wanna smack her real hard!!!!!!!!!!!
We brought twin stroller along, but the boys refuse to sit in it (probably they do not feel secure being pushed around like that). So ended up their sister sitting alone enjoying the whole shopping trip with her stupid KFC! *I think I am going to need the acne treatment after all these crazy parenting moments!!*

Meet up with WombieKhoo
*See how enjoy the babies being snugged in our embrace?*
Having a bad experience with QQ on stroller last time, me and my maid carried the boys close to us instead of putting them into their stroller. Well, they were quite easy to manage, as they sleep most of the time since we hold them close in our sling (until can forget about drinking milk).

De Twin in Black and White
Ok, we decided to put the boys in their stroller just for some photoshots as soon as we reached home. At only 2.5months, they do look big in their stroller, don’t they? More photos here

Remember the last post where I hold one of the twin in sling during a *car ride (do take note that sling should not be used to replaced car seat). We have two car seats in the car, but probably it was a totally new experience to the babies, their face frown and start crying shortly after we put them in. That is why me and my maid wear our baby close to us (at that time, we were not required to belt when seated at the behind rows and car seat is not a rulling here in this country)
This weekend, we even plan the first shopping for the boys. Not sure how it will turn out (probably I had to run in and out of the feeding room to feed them both), I would still prefer to sling the boys rather than to push them in their twin stroller (got it, finally!)
*some added photos from the hard drive to my new site!*

When I picked up QQ from school today (on my way back from the clinic), I just realised that I have been missing the fun of being “38″ (I mean catching up) with those si-lai (SAHM) and teachers there. In just merely 10-15minutes, we can chat on topics from breastfeeding to effect of post pregnancy, and how our skin became so loose after giving birth!
Being having to stay at home with the twins, sometimes I really miss the life out there. Bento-ing? Scrapping? Wait for me, I will surely come back for more!

Update about QQ
Thanks for all well wishes. Today she starts going to school and she lost 2 kg after the vomit and diarrhoea incident. But unfortunately, now the virus attacked me starting with high fever and now diarrhoea came along too.
Parenting Twin
Time flies and the boys are going to be 3 months soon. I miss their baby time and I would rather spend my time cuddling, bathing them whenever I can. I spend most of my time on breastfeeding (now they are big and heavy so it has to go one by one) and also catching my sleep whenever the boys are sleeping.
What happen to blogging
As my online time is very limited nowadays, I only manage to quickly post about what I wish to keep with me as a memory (especially on my kids), what is happening to our life. With the ability to juggle so much at one time, I guess I deserve the best award in cpm if I am still in the corporate. Ever since then, even my blogging income has gone down tremendously as I no longer have energy to stay up to do sponsored postings.
Sorry if i take a long time to visit your blogs nowadays (I still do, maybe slower as I very kepo wanna know what is happening now, hehe). Also have been owning too much tags, so I decided not to do them anymore as it will take up taking up lots of my time. However I must say thank you to all fellow bloggers have me in mind when come to tags. Really appreciate a lot!
10.09.08 / 2nd Hand Baby Stuffs, De Gallery, Parenting / Author: chinneeq / Comments: (4)

De Gallery is my another new site, to put all the recommendation on parenting products that I love to use, or 2nd hand things that I have for sale (since I already plan to tutup kedai!).
As a mother to 3 children, with a limited budget now, I have to shop very wisely and carefully, to choose only things I find really useful, but of course, also inline with the new trend of parenting.
New baby products can be very pricey today, especially if they are the imported brands where they are known for their good quality. Since most of us only need them temporary, sometimes it would be wiser to get the 2nd hand (if they are still good and new!)
I see a demand with email inquiries coming in after I published some of my baby things for sale on this blog. Therefore De Gallery is launched to place what is available now, to do my sales jobs.
Remember to check out from time to time for good bargains!
Happy Parenting

It is surprising how bad my diarrhoea can get this time. Started from my girl on last Friday, she had a series of vomiting on the first day until we had to rush her to2 clinics and one hospital within the first 24 hours. Due to her young age, she was given suppositories by all doctors, but none seems to stop her vomit and then followed by diarrhoea. The whole episode lasted for 5 days and she lost 2kilograme by the end of the day. Now that she is better, but it seems that the virus has been passed to mummy instead. I hope it is not the serious Crohn Disease, which looks very similar according to the information I got online.

After delivery
Blamed it on my stupid c-sect delivery (failure to nurse my babies in the first 48 hours), I did not give up.
During confinement
Blamed it on my stupid “dry gene” (even my inner wear is totally dry despite taking much soup during confinement), I did not give up.
Consoled myself I have got 2 babies, that is why milk is not enough, but I still not giving up.
After confinement
Called up some lactation consultant and this twin mummy for help, but even with their tips, I just cannot produce milk. Damn “boh kam wan” liao.
Every time this super twin mummy tell me she could feed her twin boys exclusively and collect 8oz each pump. Make me lagi “boh kam wan” and cannot give up.
A gynae told me she could help me, gave me a week Maxolon pills, it improves. But still need formula in between. Ahem… Am doing better for that week.
After I went to see Dr Koe due to the thrush problem (another pain I have to endure until today), I was given Domperidone hormone pills to help increase bm again. Slowly milk increase.
So when the twin reaches 2 months
YIPEE…….my dream comes true. I am very proud that I am finally producing enough of human milk for my babies!
- Twin 1 has been exclusively on bm for more than 2 weeks (plus another story of refusing bottle) while
- Twin 2 (the hard to satisfy boy) is only taking formula only once or twice a day.
Since I can’t produce milk, I doubt if the fat will stay on in my body. Sei lor..surely needs some best fat burner after this!
