Too young to start education on my babies? haha….I am now a very lazy mama at home. Besides, spending time on feeding, cleaning, hugging the boys and entertain my girl, I hardly do anything for them now. Luckily I did some very good flash cards long time ago. I remember I hardly use them on QQ, so I hope I really make good use of my “sweat and blood” homemade GD cards on the twins now.
At only 6 weeks plus, the boys are already excited seeing the B&W cards. Just hope their eye sight is alright, unlike their sister who has serious Hypermetropia problem.
Just hope they would all grow up soon, and could join my girl to play hide and seek whenever my hubby washes and hang all his car covers in the field:p

Slide Show of De’Nude moments
De’Twin @ 8 weeks
Zhen (Twin 1) weights 5.5kg
Then (Twin 2) weights 5kg
I think I am the most stupid woman on earth, tak habis-habis torture my poor boobies.
2 weeks ago, I went to a gynae and was given Maxolon pills to increase my milk, and in fact, it did. Alas I only manage to experience mulitple let-downs for a week
And then, I was so unlucky to suffer from nipple thrush 4 days ago until I could not nurse at all. It hurts soooo much until I can only express and feed (so much work and time consumed until I did not manage to sleep one whole night just express and feed the babies with bottles!!)
I might sound stubborn but the main reason why I die-die want to breastfeed exclusively is that ,
- it would save me so much time from cleaning so many bottles ( I don’t trust the maid anymore after I catch her a few times doing it wrong/unhygienic way)
- there is less fuss when feeding the boys (they scream when being shoved with bottle)
- Most important, I do not have to keep on getting up one whole night and sit there till dawn just to feed the twin by bottle one by one at night
Therefore we brought the babies to see Dr.Koe yesterday, thanks to my dear friend Audrey who accompany me the whole morning. The babies and me were given Daktarin (oral gel) to apply. She is kind to spend the whole morning guiding me the way to feed the twins. Again, I was given pills (this time domperidone) to increase my bm.
How to increase breastmilk
Well, I was advice to just sit there, feed and feed the babies until they latch off one whole day long without able to do anything. No more blogging at least for a few months, Dr said. Since they are already 2 months, I might have to tahan for another 4 months yeah….*time to only enjoy my babies at the moment, I guess

Baby Zhen (kor-kor) @ 7 weeks
Amazing with what babies today can do in their early days.
Dislike being tug and swaddle with a cloth
We believe that when babies are tied up, they will be less frighten and will not jerk when sleeping. Unlike most baby girls, my boys are quite rough. They do not allow us to swaddle them with cloth upon reaching home (will wail like mad if we do, trying to free their hands out of the cloth). So instead we let them free but sleep facing down.

Hehe…*beh tahan* (cannot stand) for long
Can raise their head and turn easily
Afraid of SIDS? Haha….no need so worried la. Since they don’t like to be swaddle, we let them sleep on their tummy. Amazingly, they could lift up their heads easily and turn left and right for the best position! They even only want to be carried upright instead of lying like a baby ( until I am so worried of their spinal problem and head support!)
When old people sees this, they said we ate too much nutrient, until young babies that we carry even have abilities like that. True ah? I remember QQ macam more *lembik* (soft) as compare to her brothers.
* so contented to see the boys since I am bringing them up myself this time. Must really celebrate it with a good bottle of wine of the month club!

Injury caused by nanny? My brother-in-law was so mad last week when his daughter had a great fall. Only one year plus, she is quite unlucky to bit into her lips, have three of her front teeth loosen with a swollen gum. According to my brother-in-law, the dentist has advice to have those of three teeth extracted.
I am not sure of the whole story, but my brother-in-law blames it on the carelessness of the old nanny. He even wants to report to police and bring the case to Fort Worth Personal Injury Attorney to sue her for that incident although I personally feel it is really not nice to do that as our child sometimes tends to fall too, especially when they start to walk.

De’Twin @ Week 7

Twin 1: Weight 5kg (from birth @2.73kg),
Twin 2: Weight 4.5kg (from birth @ 2.33kg)
- able to look into our eyes and smile
- answer when we talk to them
- able to concentrate of the B&W cards (post that later)
- able to lift their head up (already during confinement)
- trying to grab toy from hanging mobile
Without having a chance to see the moon and sun, I have been staying at home with the boys for a whole 7 weeks. Although some days it is extremely tired (when I do not have a good night sleep or if I do not get to nap), it is surely satisfying witness how much they grow every single day.
At times, I still feel like giving up taking care both of them (by sending one to the nanny), but on some days, they can really sleep like angels during daytime (where I can even nap soundly in my room while the maid keep an eye on the sleeping boys).
how time flies…..

Many people tell me that I am lucky at least my elder girl is already 4 (at least more understanding) when I delivered the babies. Yes, unlike some elder siblings who still need to be carried by their overly tired preggy mummy, my girl can walk, eat, and play by herself without having me to carry her.
But on the other hand, she could endanger her own brothers. For instant, kind jie-jie will:
- rock the bouncinet so quickly and hard, until the baby on it almost fly away!!!
- carry the baby as she likes until sometimes my heart almost fall out
- take dangerous or sharp things near to the babies
Although we advice and tell her not to, but somehow, stubborn QQ will still repeat the same thing the next day again (probably they still do not understand the danger and consequences of doing such thing). She can be a great help at home, we still have to keep an eye on her all time, especially when she is over-affectionate with her brothers.
At the same time, she also wanna be mummy’s baby (worse still, always call herself the boys’ little mei-mei) so I have to:
- play with her
- feed her!!!! (she used to eat by herself before the arrival of the babies)
- shower her (she hates it when my maid shower her)
- make her milk (and hand it to her personally)
- at the same time, treat her like adult because she loves to have a share of my acne products!
So, if you think QQ is easy to handle now, now you know it is not really yeah….

Back dated post
After visiting blogs, only realise I forgot to post on the twin’s fullmoon!!!!
*apalah this Mummy, only thinking about breastfeeding*

So. let me *shiok* sendiri (proud of myself) for presenting one of my breastfeeding pictures here
We actually celebrated a few days earlier by bringing back the boys to my hubby’s hometown for ancestors prayers. I was lucky as my CL actually suggested that she can travel with us so that she can help me take care of the babies. (Furthermore, good also to travel before the Ghost Festival month!!!!)
We just held a dinner for hubby’s siblings besides the prayers. Nothing fancy about the boys’ fullmoon celebration. QQ shiok also coz get to play with her cousins until forgot all about us.

Luckily the babies did not fuss much during the travel….*phiew*

Week 7
Breastfeeding can be easy for some, but definitely not for everyone. Why I dare to say this?
feed one baby = 15-30mins
(sometimes got to repeat feeding after a while if cry/wake up cry from sleep again)
feeding interval = 1 1/2hour-2 hourly
(if awake and wee too much, will cry again for milk after 1 hour)
See how much time I have in between every 2 hours to rest/sleep?
QQ’s time
Even though she is my first child, I managed to breastfeed her exclusively without having to use any formula throughout her first year. As a first time mother, my bf journey was difficult in the beginning (with latching or sore nipple problem), I still manage to do it (with lots of extra storage in my freezer) although I was working at that time.
Now with the twins
I would say it is “supply” or “feeding time management” problem. I used all sorts of method (including taking Maxolon pills to increase my milk, drink all sorts of soup and milkmaid tea), nothing seems to help to increase my supply to the stage where I can do without formula. Unlike last time, this time I do not even experience engorgement, just imagine!! The boys suck me so dry until I actually feel pain after they extract all milk out from me.
Demand = Supply??
I am not sure of this anymore. They just would not seem to let go of me even though already asleep (I know they are treating me as their pacifier with their sucking method). The moment I remove them, they will wake again.
So now what I do each time is to time my feeding. I limit to 10mins per side. If they still cry or cannot sleep, I get maid to shove bottle of formula into their mouth until they no longer wanna drink.
But I am going to take the last attempt, by seeing Dr.Koe next week. If result still the same, ok, I give up on bf exclusively!

I always love to make my own arrangement when I go travel. I already feel the excitement when I start to search and see the information online, browse what is interesting in that country or place that I will be going, see the hotel photos that I will be staying and make itinerary during my travel there. Of course there is so much to be done as compare to go by tours, even though not really much cheaper. But at least there is more freedom, where I can have the luxury of spending more time at places that I think is more interesting.
But now with kids, I do not fancy about making my own arrangement anymore. I hardly have time to go online and sit in front of my computer, let alone having to search for so much information. During travel, going on shuttle will be more reliable and safe, especially if I have to bring my kids to travel to places that I am not familiar with. My cousin too, uses the Newark Airport Shuttle when she visited New York City a month ago. It is as convenient as it provides transfer between their hotels to the airport, and even places of interest.

So nice to be able to capture all the tender moments of our children, especially when they are babies, right? Jazzmint and Sue is so kind to come from such a distance to our place to capture the first few days of my twins. Enjoy the rest of the photos here.

1st Pead : Suggested to do the repeat “traumatic blood test” again on the boys after their fullmoon
2nd Pead: Said that Hyperthyroid among babies are very dangerous and they can have brain damage if not treated properly
3rd Doctor from HUKM semi-private: Asked me if I have brought my sons for chemo!

You would not imagine what I am going through from the traumatic delivery, having to handle a demanding toddler at the same time followed by my failure to breastfeed the boys 100% breastmilk, then my worst fear, the boys’ hyperthyroid problem.
But at least after the confirmation 2 days ago , we am so glad that the boys condition is not as serious as what the rest of normal peads thought.
Result from Day 5 after birth:
Twin 1: Free T4 (21.5) (normal Free T4 : 9~19) with TSH normal
Twin 2: Free T4 (24.6) with TSH normal
Result: The level will go back to normal later (since they have already separated from my trouble body system). Instead the doctor is more worried about the mummy than the babies (let’s not talk about me here).
Instead of waiting for long queue and appointments, we made an appointment this time with Prof. Dr. Wu Loo Ling (Pead Endocrinologist in HUKM Specialist Centre). Given a slot (and greeted by nice nurses and a smiling specialist, we just meet her on the given time without have to wait at all (but have to pay Rm100 each kid instead of Rm5 if we go to semi-private).
Luckily I went to the right person this time. Otherwise just imagine how much my babies got to suffer again, if unneccessary blood test are repeated again by pead/doctors who are not expert in this area.
………*Phiew*………..
Just for info, in HUKM Specialist Centre (03-9170 3700), there are 4 pead specialist:
- Endocrinology (Prof. Dr. Woo Loo Ling and Prof. Madya Dr. Rahmah Rasat),
- Neurology (Prof. Dr. Ong Lai Choo) and
- Cardiology (Prof. Madya Dr. Bilkis Banu Abd. Aziz)

Sometimes when I look at my children, I would wonder what they will be when they grow up later. I have great respect for people with high profession like doctors. Not because of their success to be one, but rather the sacrifice that they had gone through to become one. In fact, it would be heartening to see my own children having to sacrifice like that to become one, should they have that kind of interest in future. But I would rather my girl take a light profession, probably just a beautician graduated from one of the beauty schools in minnesota. By having lighter job responsibility, I hope that she could enjoy her motherhood to the fullest.

Thanks for concern, and it made me just realizes that I have not been updating anything on my poor girl!
I admit, due to the lack of hands (or I should say the over-demanding twins who hardly sleeps), our poor girl has been put aside. Whenever she comes back from school, and wanna me to read with her, I got to tell her to wait as I am busy with the babies. Same goes when we voice our concern when she try show her “overly affection” to her brothers (by carrying them too roughly, rocking them until they could fly off their bouncinet).
But luckily for us also, there is a place to escape when she is not feeling happy with Mummy and Papa at home. Most of the time after lunch or when she feel unwanted, she would go to her ex-nanny’s house which is only 2 door away, at least for a few hours. *at least I could rest a bit and not having to spend so much pimple creams, hehe….*
Poor girl, with the twins now, I wonder how I can spare some time for her.
