Even my CL also going bonkers liao!! Every night, CL will bring the babies into her room to sleep early. After getting rest for a few hours, she will bring one of the twin to me (a few hours after my last pump when my supply replenished).
However with just one baby, I also cannot manage now (feeding and burping). Baby boy is so demanding that whole night I just got to feed and burp. Did not manage to sleep for the past few nights until morning.
At 7am, I had to wake up to prepare QQ for school, and it is only at 8am, after she left to school, I manage to catch some hours to sleep after my first pump in the morning.
This time I really fail miserably to breastfeed, even with one twin. Really don’t know how to cope when CL leaves in another week time! I think I am going to have panda eyes for at least another 2 years, no more blogging for me…*sob sob*!
Hey…like I said, Don’t overdo it. With twins, really double work. Is it possible for her to stay another 2 more weeks. I think they will be a little more settled then.
Perhaps ask Hubby to help prepare breakfast? My hubs helps me prepare bfast for my 2 boys, becoz I’m feeding my No.3!
Your maid can help with changing nappies? I hope?
Maybe can ask confinement lady to stay a bit longer and help to train your maid…

Perhaps you can start trying to breastfeed while lying down or sleeping? Sure beats getting up and expressing milk all the time!
yes i agree if possible ask ur CL to stay for another week or two, once she leaves u have to adjust again, try not to rely on her too much now else very difficult for u wen shes not around… its a matter of time u cope wif ur twins, im sure u can do it

Don’t be too hard with yourself. Nothing wrong with supplementing with fm. Any amount of bm is better than no bm.
Yeah, try and ask the CL to stay a few more weeks and b4 CL leave, make sure your maid is well trained to help you.
dont feel miserable… it is a phase of adjustment. looking at your cute handsome boys, it worth every single effort.

I was unable to sleep normally until I took my daughter to sleep with me, so that I could feed her without much waking up:) I know that most mommies think negatively of such a practice, but when I’ve been dieing of lack of sleep, I couldn’t find any other way to solve the problem…
Everything comes in double !! And I really think boys are more difficult to tk cr..but anyway, time flies..soon, u will be headache over their running around non-stop!!!!
Chinnee… actually why do you even need to pump? Direct breastfeeding would be easier on you, and that way maybe you can even feel up to tandem feeding…
If all else fails, supplementing with formula is ok also, don’t pressure yourself. Lastly, is your maid learning and soaking all these up? Hopefully she’s learning from the confinement lady and is able to help you after she leaves.

I also feel like that on the first days… I even couldn’t sleep at all for 2 days… seems that SLEEP was the only thing I want.. just sleep and sleep and sleep!! hehehehe… don’t forget to hear happy songs and sing, hope you can feel better and enjoy being a mom of twins ok!!
It’s a tough time now for sure.. but think of the double happiness you will enjoy in the later years.. hopefully that will help you err.. less ‘bonkerz’?
If your CL doesnt have any job in hand, mayb can ask if she can help out a little longer, @ a lower rate? That was the arrangement my SIL had with her CL.

I think with the busy schedule everyday, you’ll get back your shape quickly even without that “bengkung” (it’s that medically proof ok after delivery?…It seems tight to your body…)

Boys do eat a lot more than girls. Last time, I bf for 45mins each time and after 30mins, have to start over. Sumore you got twins worr……..don’t pressure youself lah. You pressure more, lagi no milk.
And you still able to blog??!!! “Keng” ah… don’t worry too much now… do whatever the best you can… you can do it!
actually, you’re not bad wor… confinement can still blog. My mum and aunts forbid me to even sit on the chair for long, let alone read or stare at the computer during my confinement!
